"This place was fantastic. Lovely place for lunch on our day in the town. For the love of God don't get the chicken salad. It was a fine salad, but the haggis neeps and tatties with whiskey sauce was fantastic. If you are traveling like I was, you are not in Scotland to eat salad. Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair and the staff was great with our baby. Bonus: the haggis neeps and tatties was loved by our 10 month old. Food: 5"

Given the price of staying at the hotel, the dining experience was quite affordable. Our meals were absolutely delicious. Although it was a busy Tuesday night, the staff remained exceptionally friendly and helpful, never appearing to rush despite the crowd.

One of the best pubs in Scotland! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is truly exceptional, and the pub has a cozy, warm atmosphere. I was fortunate to visit on a day when they had live music! My recommendation is to book in advance; otherwise, you might not get a table.
