Papa Ganoush - Menu

Quite honestly the best food that I have eaten I Whitley Bay without a doubt. Had this as a takeaway following a revamp of the menu and it’s absolutely fantastic, the food was hot and delicious and we will be back!!!

a friendly and chilled atmosphere in this restaurant. from cool craft beer to beautiful flat broth, this place will not disappoint vegetarian or carnivores alike. friendly staff, nice eating and a great atmosphere. highly recommended, book ahead as demand is high!

fantastic eating. we had 4 small plates with a pitta and hummus and were filled. especially delicious were the flower flowers bhajis and falafels! although the alcohol menu is local, the choices were limited and expensive. the service was good, but we couldn't order any more drinks when he was busy.

Such a wonderful meal and atmosphere. The food has always been fantastic. The last 3 meals we've had here have been some of my favourite dining experiences. As a non meat eater it's so great to have the sea bass on the menu and the return of salads really brings it all together for me. Cannot wait to go again next month

As a local resident we have been here many times but would now not recommend. Attitude of management was clear through whole experience; rude staff, poor service and food no longer unique- not what it used to be. Overall hugely disappointing and not an enjoyable experience. I would recommend taking yourself and your money elsewhere- loads of other fab places like Omni or Pranzo.

Fantastic place to eat. Food is exceptional and you can really tell they have thought about this menu. I love the fact the food comes out in intervals, it gives you time to really enjoy what you have. Service is always great, staff are lovely. There was a lovely girl serving us, explained the menu (i think she was Scottish but couldnt hear well as it was busy! excellent just excellent

This was a highly recommended restaurant, but did not reach my expectations. The food was lovely, but the service was poor. Our starters arrived at staggered intervals, so we were waiting approximately 15 minutes before all the dishes were at out table. The same with our main dishes too. Although the food was excellent, the portion sizes were meagre. A very expensive evening, and we came away hungry.

My wife and I visited for her birthday. Overall we had a lovely evening. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was inviting and the service was good. However, as many people have pointed out, the portion sizes are small and very expensive for what they are. We ordered two starters, four small plates and had two drinks each so we didn’t go wild. Our bill came in at £95! And we still left hungry. I can forgive the prices of the food but charging £6.50 for a can of beer (not from draught or even pint sized) is criminal. I’m pleased we went, we had a good night but we won’t be rushing back.

had such a nice dinner today. that was nice to eat. the plates are quite large, we have ordered too much food for two people, but it was easy to do as it was so m a ny dinge that we wanted to try. started with the tzatziki and hummus with green harrisa. Both were great, the hummus was so light. the pitta we had to accompany them was soft and padded. for the main was the chicken sawarma so good, amazingly spicy. the pork souvlaki was tender and melting, but not entirely up to the taste standard of the chicken. strong aromen, the veg was light and had a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit as it should be. the Goan Seabass fry was amazing. my friend is really not in fish, but even she enjoyed it. su...
