Good local beer choices and exotic pizzas. On the IOW coastal path, so handy for hikers.

Ok place for a drink but it gets taken over by the up themselves sailing bunch in the summer which changes things for the worst.

Stopped after a walk and needed a drink and snack. I can't recommend the Black IPA enough and the fancy fries with Parmesan and Truffle Visualizza piatti

A real locals' pub but always friendly, the Pilot Boat is as nice for a quiet afternoon drink with the paper as it is for a long evening with friends.

The Pilot Boat in is a wonderful oldy worldy pub in Bembridge the Isle Of Wight and I heartily recommend it to anyone taking a holiday in the Isle Of Wight,

This unique pub has a brewery on site. Norman was beyond kind and showed us around. Husband is a real ale man and loved the dark IPA. We came in are a long walk sampled the beers and had pizza for lunch. Best pizza outside of Italy (husband's comments). I had a gluten free one which is the best GF version I've tasted so far. Staff were so helpful and friendly. If you go make sure you say hello to Norman who is the kind of person every business needs. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely few hours.

Just on the Isle of Wight for the day and visited the Pilot boat inn for something to eat and a sample of their in house brewed beer. I love pale ale and as it was one of their beers I opted for that and I have to say it is without a doubt the best pale ale I’ve ever had. Spoke to Norman and he was kind enough to show me the small micro brewery of theirs. Such a cool place and a must to go visit. I did leave with one of their 9 pint kegs, of course with pale ale. Highly recommend this place. Pizzas and staff are awesome too.

We did not expect much when we booked, however upon arrival could tell this was much better than we ever expected (especially for the price we paid)! Was a friendly greeting, and such a lovely room. Cleanest bathroom I've ever seen. And such a lovely powerful shower. And the BED.. Honestly the comfiest bed ever, with the best night's sleep. Again, didn't expect much for breakfast as knew it was just continental, but that was very satisfying, with tea/coffee, Juice, toast, fruit, yogurts, cereal etc. We also chose to eat here in the evening which was for pizzas, and these were again, the best pizzas!
