"This was my second visit to a BEYOND a gem of a restaurant. I didn 't review the first time as you never know. Silly me! That time, the steak and chips, etc. I mean ETC. were beyond sensational Hot, succulent, perfectly served and basically Heaven on a plate. DON 'T even get me on to puddings or suitably scalding as it must be espresso! Sunday Roast however put even that into the shade! And that was one Hell of a achievement. Arrived near the end of lunch and thought 'Bad timing! However good a place, by the end, you ALWAYS get the off cuts! Again, Silly me!!! I am not a big eater, but I cleaned CLEANED! the plate. Beautifully presented, hot SO important , again served with love and just the right amount of bonhomie and well, just WOW! Staff wonderful, interior kooky, but cool, toilets sorry, but important spotless . PERFECT! A joy from start to finish TWICE. I 'd recommend the world to go there, but I 'm terrified, I 'll NEVER get a table again! If that happens, well, Silly me, but y 'all HAVE to know and go!!! Totally WONDERFUL...!!! If I can ever manage to book a table ahead of the crowds after this review, I 'll see you there. P.S. It 's bigger than you think it looks and there 's wonderful sunny seating outside, so we 'll all be fine!!! FABULOUS!"

Fantastic lunch again yesterday. Most of us had the fish and chips. Fish melted in the mouth. Fabulous service with the waitress giving special attention to ensure the member of our party who is celiac was catered for. Really enjoyed ourselves roll on next time

tucked away in the side road this is a little gem well worth searching out. the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are always willing to make sure that you feel valued and very welcome. the food and drinks are excellent, and it has a lovely relaxed elegant vybe about the place....

Was such welcoming experience, that set the standard of the whole meal. The service was very good, friendly and timely. Th food was very nice, and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce was very tasty, and th ice cream was a good quality. Not overly expensive, £17 for two courses, will definitely be going back.
