"in Besalú a varied gastronomic offer. To date, whenever I have visited this condal villa, I opted for another emblematic restaurant with terrace and views of the bridge but, while browsing the internet, its poor wine menu and negative comments regarding customer service, made me look for an alternative. the pont vell, was the chosen, in contrast to the above described. your Euro menu is quite good, your extensive wine menu, with more pages, contains some jewelry at reasonable prices and the treatment and good making of your room and kitchen equipment is evident. and everything, in an excellent space with privileged views over the emblematic medieval bridge."

"Agradable restaurante situado en una tranquila plaza en la que se encuentra el monasterio de Sant Pere de Besalú. Interior confortable , con cocina a la vista y una terraza en la que disfrutar de las vistas. En la carta hay platos de cocina casera mediterránea, amplio surtido de tapas y una variedad de paellas y arroces, tanto de pescados como de carne o verduras. Pedimos una ensalada verde muy completa y un arroz del senyoret para dos personas (paella marinera con gambas, mejillones y calamar, todo pelado y sin conchas). Muy rico y ración abundante, que nos dio para repetir, además de llevar bastante marisco. El color es rojizo. No sé cómo harán el sofrito, pero lo que es seguro es que lleva ñoras (se ven trocitos en el arroz) y bastante tomate y de ahí el color que tiene. Muy sabroso y punto de sal perfecto, preparado de una manera que no es la habitual que encontramos en Cataluña, por ese sofrito diferente. El servicio muy amable y la comida salió sin grandes esperas, lo justo que tarda en hacerse la paella, que cocinan al momento. El precio muy correcto. Por veinte euros euros por persona salimos saciados. Un grato descubrimiento en Besalú."

"Restaurante a 5 km de Besalú, vamos aprovechando la feria medieval. El entorno es maravilloso, muy agradable y tranquilo. Era una antigua Abadia. Ubicado en el claustro restaurado de una iglesia románica del siglo XI. Tiene 2 comedores interiores uno de mesa grande y una de 4 y otro mas grande y terraza exterior. Vamos con amigos de Torelló. Menu fin de semana 33€, vino y agua incluidos. No està escrito lo canta la camarera. A escoger o 4 entrantes para compartir o un plato de primero. Compartir, croquetas de chipirones deliciosas, calamares a la romana caseros y muy ricos y tiernos, mejillones salteados y coca de recapte con escalivada y anchoas. De segundo parrillada de carne muy completa y ellas pagre (pescado) y el cua de bou, aun hervia.. Postre crema catalana aceptable. Servicio lento no lo siguiente. 4 entrantes y digestión incluida entre platos."

"a pizzeria with tourist menu, quality for tourists and prices for tourists. Why only 3 stars? Pizzas are not of great gastronomic value, but they are quite simple even if they want to present a sophisticated menu. We asked for two special pizzas outside the card to test the creative and culinary capacity of the establishment and it was a disappointment. Pear pizza with nuts that came with four very narrow pieces of pear (appears more elegant and a walnut divided into 4 scattered by the pizza that we were charged 38,00 eur and we only take 2 pizzas and two soft drinks (see the perch that we already decided that we would not order desserts or coffees the pizzas are not bad . . but they are nothing special."

"Greeted at reception in a polite and informative manner. This restaurant with its 15 euro buffet including drinks is clearly popular with locals. It was soon obvious why it’s popular. Wonderful range of a wide variety of interesting dishes. I really enjoyed it thought the food should have been hotter. Great value and spotlessly clean restaurant. Sadly the bin in the toilet needed to be emptied and there was a lot of tissue on the floor However overall an enjoyable experience."
