"This is an old favourite, now under new and imaginative management. The menus have been re vamped and broadened. Most of our party had pizzas, which were some of the best I have eaten anywhere loads of filling, very thin and crisp pasta. It's a wonderful location at the end of St Luc's longest ski run, so it's good for lunch, drinks through the day and dinner in the evening; best of all, since it is located by the bus stop for the St Luc Navette (circular bus route), skiers and non participants can meet there. And the staff were great, so it comes strongly recommended!"

"Wir reservierten 2 Tage, bevor wir St. Luc im Restaurant Bella Tola abstellten. Genießen Sie unseren letzten Abend in einem hervorragenden Restaurant und wir waren die ganze Woche hier, um hier zu essen.Als wir im Restaurant ankamen, konnten sie unsere Reservierung nicht finden und sagten nur, dass sie uns nicht helfen und uns rausschmeißen würden. Alle anderen Orte waren ausgebucht. Wir gingen zurück in die Wohnung und aßen nur was wir finden konnten, da es unsere letzte Nacht war und alle Geschäfte geschlossen waren.Wir sind empört über den Mangel an profissionalisme und sie waren einfach sehr unhöflich. Wir reservierten und sie bestätigten, dass wir einen Tisch für 5 Personen und ein Baby hatten. Ich verstehe nicht, wie ein Top-Restaurant eine Reservierung verlieren kann und sehr unhöflich ist. Als ob wir lügen oder so. Sehr enttäuschend und wir sagen allen, dass wir wissen, dass es hier in Saint Luc viel bessere Alternativen gibt. Mit dem gleichen Essen aber viel besseren Service und Höflichkeit."

"We ate cheese fondue, in the beginning it was OK, halfway the cheese started to work like Caoutchouc something! We asked for suggestions, they answered: "We can try to revise it '. Instead, we wanted to get another dish, a plate, and that we would pay for the price difference. They answered that it was not an option. We asked about the origin of beef: South America, Swiss cows are not possible.... After waiting long before the second waiter came back to get our choice, I went in to talk to the owner, first he didn't feel like coming to us. A madam, who apparently belonged to the restaurant, said she didn't serve. Then the owner gave his word that a new part should be cooked, but the result was worse than the first. The Madame came out as we were on the terrace, proves to us that the second part was freshly made, in us the first pot shown, her ton was not friendly. As an explanation she said that it usually works well with cheese fondue, but the fact that the outside air temperature was around 8 celsius would be the reason for the chewing gum fondue. We left it as it was, we asked to pay only a part, but she refused, she offered us tea and digestion. We informed the waiter that we wanted to post a comment on travel advisers and that we would also inform Wallis Swiss Tourismusbüro."

"Wir waren gestern in Restaurant chez Ida und hatten ein 3-Gang-Menü im vornherein bestellt. Die Vorspeise und der Hauptgang waren sehr schwach gesalzen und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Der Hauptgang bestand aus 3 Lammkoteletts und 2 Shitake Pilzen und einem kleinen Bohnenboquet. Die Stärkebeilage hat gefehlt daher mussten wir noch zusätzlich eine Portion Frites bestellen. Zum Dessert gab es ein Tarte Tatin. Unserer Meinung nach war dieses Dessert weit entfert von einem Tarte Tatin. Fazit: Kein gelungenes 3-Gang-Menü. Schade."

"Restaurant de la Poste is what I term, Good Fine homecooking. The meat from hunting season was of good quality and with fine sauces and presentation. Very tasty. The meat for the steak was average quality. Accompanying sauces were average also and not so...tasty. Wine by glass selection is very limited. Ambiance is average Swiss cafe type restaurant with a nice large terrace. Sun was not on the terrace for lunch, however, we enjoyed our coffee in the warm sun. Price for hunting menu 85.-chf was well worth it. 45.-chf for steak 200 gr. quantity enough but meat was a bit tough. Its located next to the road so the ambiance is half mountain, half road. I think the best they offer is the hunting menu for quality, price and excellent sauces."
