"my parents visited me for some private activities, and I thought it would be a nice idea to treat them afterwards to a family dinner. it turned out that this place was a pretty decent location to do this. the atmosphere was defined “Date type material” and the...Service was really on the earth that really added to the experience. restaurant lorbeer offers many homemade dings such as brot, beer and lauded. I often feel like there is a little more excitement (may even be proud) about the things that people make themselves. it was the case here. I really enjoy people who speak passionately, especially when it comes to eating. with the discoeat. de app we actually have a really good discount as well, if they need another reason to go other than beautiful atmosphere, great personal and delicious eating. last but not least, I love that they offer mixed appetizers and dessert plates that can be ordered in one of three sizes. great for sharing and checking what they need to offer"

I was sad when Lorbeer changed from a brunch plce to an evening restaurant but the food was delightful and win to die for The menu was interesting let's say and admittedly there was only one main course I wanted, but I still enjoyed it...very much.

that was a perfect evening meal to follow a “average best” day on Monday. the food was colorful, tasteful and simply delicious and the service was one of the best I had in a long time. absolutely beautiful experience! while they are. there are try some of their homemade beer.

The experience at Lorbeer was very disappointing. The menu sounded very appetising, and the food would have been very good, if they had not oversalted every item ordered, to an extreme. To top it off, the waiter tried to sell us a lie about service...not being included in restaurant prices in Germany, which was insulting.

good eating in a traditional German environment than many other facilities in this trendy area of berlin (it is a bit of landmark when familiar with london.) eating is in the nature of Europe with a good, varied menu. we all had a big lunch. So hasn't eaten too much, but everyone had a good meal. the staff was very friendly.

We ate here tonight and hope our first experience of eating in Berlin isnt going to be typical.The food was fine but we werent presented with a bill, just told how much. As I hadnt thought about getting over charged (despite having read a previous...review about the bill) i just paid....it also has to be cash, not card.I even added a 10percent tip on the 51euros the waiter said the bill was. When we had left i realised there was no way the bill was correct.we had been charged at least 10 euros too much. My friend didnt want me to go back and challenge because of the language problem. I feel furious.

This is a very nice local restaurant serving traditional German food and wine. The ambience is nice. Almost everyone on my table ate from the seasonal menu, several taking roast lamb with asparagus and new potatoes and a nice Madeira sauce everyone was very...happy with their dish. I had the beetroot gnocchi filled with marscapone and herbs with a butter sauce. It was very rich and some of the pieces of gnocchi had dried out a little and were tough on the outside, but was also quite tasty. The wine selection was excellent again some really nice German wines and the service was very nice as we were a large group.

Great place with a nice atmosphere and original menu, local favorite. Food is excellent, lots of good wines by the glass. However, visiting on a saturday evening, we found the service service seriously lacking. While the very young and probably very unexperienced manager spend lots...of time being chummy with the regulars, we (and several other clients) were completely forgotten. The second course in our four course menu never arrived, third course arrived cold one hour after the first, and when we indicated after thirty minutes of extra waiting we did not want to wait for desert the manager looked at us as if he saw water burning. And after all that, suggested to cut 10 percent of our total...
