Service was very friendly. The food was excellent and the waitress and kitchen gave us the space and time to enjoy our meal and conversation. Our Canadian visitors were very impressed and we were too. Well done Waage!

beautiful restaurant well italian influenced eating not typical italian. but still very good service beautiful atmosfeer for busuness a bit clinical for pleasure in my opinion that eating is very good, but not very typical italian. no pizza place.

My whole family had lunch here. We could sit outside right in the middle of Neuer Markt. Wonderful. I enjoyed the food and the wine. The service was friendly but for my taste the waitress could have kept it a bit more formal. I don't...need to be friends with the waiting staff. For Potsdam pricing wise rather at the upper end.

After several forgettable meals in Potsdam, including a stop at one place where the waiter declined to take our order because the chef was tired of cooking, Restaurant Waage came as a relief. Imaginative, nicely done Italian food and much more than the take-it-or-leave-it attitude...of servers in most German restaurants. The menu changes frequently; the blackboard specials are highly recommended.

It was not easy for us to find Neuer Markt on which Waage is situated inside the old Custom House. Only few tables were occupied on this rainy Saturday evening at nearly pm when we arrived and were welcomed by the nice staff. I...had a nice antipasta presented as an artwork as a starter (see picture) and it was very delicious. My main course was an Argentine entrecote that was perfectly cooked. My wife was a little disappointed by the preparation of her scallops that she had for the starter but not the scallops itself. I enjoyed the only half bottle of red wine on the wine list, a Chianti.
