"We recently dined at Richie's and enjoyed the incredibly delicious and authentic South Indian cuisine. The flavors of the food transported us back to our time living in Tamil Nadu. We tried the Idly, Masala Dosa, and chicken Biryani, all of which were freshly prepared and tasted like homemade dishes. The service was excellent, especially from Jothi who was very friendly and welcoming. If we find ourselves back in the area, we will definitely return to Richie's. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to experience true flavors of Tamil Nadu, South India. Thank you for a wonderful evening!"

Dosa, parotta and lamb curry were very good. Biriyani not great. Only in the restaurant for over and hour and handed the bill despite not requesting it. That's poor form.

The restaurant is very clean and the food quality is excellent. You can come in for the best South Indian cuisine. The owners, who also serve as chefs, are the best people ever. They treat their customers like family and I was pleased to dine there. I will definitely visit again soon.

I brought my friend to her surprise birthday. the staff was very helpful and polite. when I called to even book where I should park. the food was nice and portions were large and they even bought a cake for them. my friend was so surprised and happy. I would recommend this restaurant and would go back there when I visit torquay.

Went for a meal at peak time on a Saturday night, and even though the restaurant were short staffed the service was very attentive. The menu was limited but when requested I was able to get a sweet lassi. Food was cooked fresh.....had south Indian lamb curry and chapati....both really decent. Chef even came out to check on us....will definitely return

we found this restaurant on google and the good review brought us curious. we were not disappointed. the service was great, very nice and attentive. but to the main reason for five stars is clearly eating. it was delicious, fresh and very tasty. even if we really love Indian food, we try not to eat very sharply. they have the level of spicy right for us, so if they are looking for big Indian food, this is the place to go. that we had a great evening.

the food is super tasty and the service is excellent. at our 3-day visit torquay we have dinner here at all days. tried various vegetarian dishes and all proved to be great. their chutneys are the best I ever had in my life. the chef takes personal interest in the suggestions of judgement and adapt them on the basis of the request. she just goes beyond and beyond for her customers. I wish I had given them more stars. definitiw recommended for Indian food in torquay.
