Ristotante Grand Royal

Abbiamo cenato qui per un totale di 4 volte e le abbiamo apprezzate tutte. C'è qualcosa per tutti e uno standard culinario elevato.

Had a very nice lunch here on a white out day. Good service and nice menu. Big wine list. Dining room overlooks garden and pool. Very quiet as i guess people think it may be expensive, which it isnt.

We had two beautiful lunches here during our skiing holiday. It really was lovely food. The service was faultless. Very quiet at lunch time but when we tried to book for the evening it was fully booked. 8/10

The small 1 star restaurant and the general dining room share a kitchen, and the cooking is correct and very good. formal italian with creativity. Professional and attentive service, and not overly expensive for what it was.

If this is only the 41st best restaurant in the town I can't wait to try the first 40. This place has a Michelin star and it is well deserved. The atmosphere and setting is world class and the service is even better. I ate here for a business meeting and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. I had the lamb pot stickers followed by the filet which was rare, breaded, and then fried. It was great, as was the dessert. The wine selection is also world class. Highly recommended.

We had a business lunch there. In advance, the kitchen was informed that we are vegetarian but that didn't help with poor vegetarian menu. It was just a spaghetti with tomato sauce, and some gilled cheese(not so good) and grilled vegetable(eggplant was pretty much raw) and all was not really any good taste(and we are not that demanding). I know that we live in a meat eater world but still, hotel and a restaurant 5* should have a chef that can offer more than grilled cheese and veggies!! This is not a vegetarian meal and vegetarians will understand.

Abbiamo pranzato con 5 amici e siamo rimasti per ore. Tutti i piatti, dal risotto di zucca al branzino alle tagliatelle, sono stati apprezzati dai rispettivi commensali. Il risotto di zucca è stato il mio preferito. I vini erano ottimi e ben valsi i soldi. Ho preso un blend rosso ed è stato il miglior vino che abbia mai avuto tra qui e gli Stati Uniti. Ci siamo ritirati al bar e abbiamo passato ancora qualche ora lì sorseggiando vino, caffè, ecc., non volendo partire sull'autobus per tornare a Chamonix. Mentre si è lì, date un'occhiata all'arredamento che ha corna per lampade, sedie, tavoli, lampadari, ecc.

if you are ever in Courmayeur, please do yourself a great gastronomic favor and visit the Royal: dinner here was simply epic. I cannot comment on their pasta dishes, except that I watched them go by and wanted to taste them all. We did however try the chef's reinterpretation of a lobster Catalan salad and red mullet in gazpacho and did not talk to each other for 10 minutes we just kept muttering mmmmmhhhh's of satisfaction. Abbiamo prenotato in anticipo durante la stagione tranquilla (fine marzo) per un tavolo per due. Penso che durante la stagione affollata sia necessario prenotare con più anticipo. In realtà volevamo inizialmente il Petit Royal ma c'era un gruppo numeroso là dentro, quindi ci è stato offerto il ristorante Grand Royal e devo ammettere che eravamo un po' apprensivi, pensando di ricevere il secondo meglio. Tuttavia, è stato eccezionale dall'inizio alla fine. Eravamo una delle due coppie al ristorante.
