"I often dine and drink at this restaurant, but was a little let down during my recent visit. Our table was squeezed between two walls, causing us to constantly shift the table to accommodate other diners. The menu offered a set 2 or 3 course option, which was not ideal for me as I usually do not indulge in starters or desserts. I felt obligated to choose one from the set menu, but ended up not enjoying the starter and leaving it uneaten. However, the main course was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was disheartened to see that the price of pints had increased significantly, reaching the levels of hotel or major city prices at £6 per pint. Despite these drawbacks, I still like this place and will return, although not as frequently due to the increased prices."

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for Sunday lunch. We sampled a variety of dishes from the menu, and they were all delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is great.

The food was really fantastic! Each of us had a different dish (fish, lamb, beef) and each piece of food was highly rated. We had jam sponge and custard and sticky toffee pudding and both were really good and very fresh! We will be back for sure

We visited Bob Stewart’s with family and everyone enjoyed their time. The food was excellent, could not fault anything. It was so delicious nobody wanted it to end. We had my 18 month grandson with us and they looked after him extremely well, making sure he had everything he needed. Just loved the place and will definitely be back.

Tuesday 29th March my friend and I had lunch. We had the tomato and roasted red pepper soup which was full of flavour and to die for. The ciabatta was full to over flowing with pulled pork and barbecue sauce. The bread itself was soft and warm and delicious . The staff were all attentive and very friendly. We will be back soon and I would really recommend it to family and friends.
