"Very picturesque pub in a lovely little village. Very quiet when we went so we sat in the courtyard which was a great way to get out of the sun. Olive and bread starter was great, chips and onion rings were really good and the portions were huge! Chicken wings were a bit odd as they were battered. Staff were a bit busy watering plants and having lunch so took a while to get their attention but once we did they were really friendly Food: 4"

Great draught beer. Sunday menu offered a choice of roast dinners or vegetarian pie. Big portions with a good selection of vegetables.

Small and friendly pub with warm and homely atmosphere. Not the widest menu but all food was hot and tasty and freshly cooked. Prices reasonable and friendly staff. Worth calling in if in the area.

there was a chance on this place for Sunday dinner based on google reviews. with other pubs this was a welcome change. there was nothing to blame. there was a warm and friendly reception, a good selection of drinks, excellent Sunday roasts, fabulous desserts and coffee. will definitely go back.
