"While on a day out to watch The Corrs at the M.E.N Arena six of us were looking for something to eat which isn't easy when there is six . We were walking in the direction of the Printworks but found this lovely little Italian en-route. The entrance was enticing enough being a beautifully set out deli shop/ coffeehouse. The restaurant is in the basement and has well set out tables and chairs. We were escorted to a little private cubicle as there was so many of us. The walls were covered with wine bottles on racks and the lighting set low but not dark the whole ambiance of the place was excellent. The waiting staff were first class advising on the meals and drinks. The food was to die for and not a lasagna or bolognese to be seen, either on the menu or plate, this was The Real Italian. First class place, first class service, first class food."

I ordered a vegetarian pizza. It arrived promptly and looked beautiful, but the crust was soggy and lacked flavor. I was very disappointed. However, the rest of my party enjoyed their pasta dishes, seafood risotto, and desserts.

We absolutely loved how quirky this family run business was, the servers were all very attentive and looked to enjoy working at the restaurant. The food was absolute delicious, my partner tried the Margherita Pizza and I had the Mare Seafood Linguine. We will be returning!

We sat down and were welcomed warmly by a waiter and were not ready to order food but he took a drinks order. We were then waiting for around 35 minutes for our order to be taken. We then waited a further 30 minutes for it to be delivered. Food was good when it arrived but the starter was a bit pricey. Won't be back.

Always greeted warmly when we visit to enjoy fab food at our favourite Manchester restaurant and today was no exception! Yes, the waiter's claim that his Aperol Spritz is the best was born out according to my wife. The Nero D'avola was as enjoyable as always, and the specials of chickpea and Porcini etc. soup and ravioli with tomato sauce and bufala mozzarella sublime. Keep it up guys love it!

I absolutely adore Salvi's. The food is fantastic, the wine selection is wonderful, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is lovely. It has a truly authentic Italian feel, with the only exception being the Chinese waiter who is outstanding. This is my go-to spot for dining in Manchester. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and overall experience. Don't forget to try the grappa before you go, it's delicious.

Salvis has recently opened a bistro at Airkix Indoor Skydiving in the Trafford Centre, Manchester. The food is still of excellent quality, although the menu options are slightly more limited compared to their location at the Corn Exchange. The coffee remains consistently excellent. While prices were initially similar to the Corn Exchange, they have recently been reduced. You do not need to be participating in the skydiving experience to dine at the bistro. It is quite a unique dining experience, as you can enjoy your meal and watch people floating around in a large glass tunnel at the same time.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Salvi's and were immediately drawn in by its charming ambiance as we walked by. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly waitress who seated us at a lovely outdoor table on a beautiful day, making us feel like we were dining in Italy. I ordered the gnocchi which was absolutely delicious, and my boyfriend had the most incredible calzone we've ever tasted. The calzone was stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese inside the folded crust. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received, averaging around £12-15. We will definitely be returning to Salvi's in the future.

My father and I were in Manchester for a couple of days and decided to revisit Salvis for dinner. We had a lovely evening with delicious food, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. Our starters arrived promptly, but we waited for our mains for approximately 45 minutes. When the garlic bread we ordered as a side dish finally came, we had to wait another 25 minutes for our mains. Despite wanting to order dessert, we were never offered the dessert menu and had to request the bill after waiting for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the slow service really detracted from our overall experience. This aspect definitely needs improvement.

I visited this restaurant last night while staying at a nearby hotel without catering. I was impressed by the friendly lady, Vee, who served me. She provided me with an amazing pizza at an affordable price and offered a selection of nice bottled beers. When I inquired about pasta, she mentioned what was available on the menu. Although I wasn't interested, she offered to create something special based on my preferences. This level of service is rare to find nowadays. I returned for a second night and was once again impressed. The exceptional service and food exceeded my expectations. I was surprised to find such quality within a leisure organization like Airkix. Thank you to Airkix and Salvis...

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
