"The two stars are for the decor and service, not the food. We have traveled quite a bit in Spain and have eaten at all levels of restaurants, so we are not inexperienced with Spanish cuisine. This the first time we have left any restaurant without finishing our meal. Usually, it's only one person's meal not up to par but this time is was both of ours. My wife had the short ribs which were too tough to eat. Typically beef is not high quality in Spain but this was below expectations for a high end restaurant. I had the Merluza, a delicious white fish I've had many times it's my favorite. This time it was over cooked to the point of being dry. I cannot remember our first course but it must have been fine. Perhaps this was an off night (the charge for appetizer, wine and bread was posted on May 24) but I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our expeience."

Si te gusta la parrilla, es una visita obligada.....tan estupendo como siempre..tan estupendo como siempre... Nada ha cambiado Sigue a tope y genial, da gusto comer allí.

Aunque hay que reservar pudimos hacernos un hueco en la barra. Pedimos Criollo, morcilla y chuleta, todo buenísimo y pagamos 18€ por persona con vino que nos recomendaron Nos encantó

I had dinner I was really hungry when getting there. All the tables were booked but they found me a table too. I head beef amazing!! Fast service. The waiter recommended the best wine! I absolutely loved it!

Restaurante en la zona de los vinos de Gijón que sin duda no puedes dejar pasar, la comida impresionante y la atención de Rubén fue espectacular, da gusto encontrarse con gente tan profesional como él. Sin duda repetiremos.

Dos veces he ido y ambas salgo diciendo que es uno de los mejores restaurantes para comer una buena carne. Calidad precio, servicio muy agradable, el ambiente puede ser mejorable, ya que es un sitio pequeño y hay demasiada gente. Lo recomiendo 100

El más recomendable de Gijón. Pocos platos mucha calidad, precio contenido. Más rústico y clásico que el nuevo Sancho más moderno y amplio, ambos con la misma comida: mollejas, morcilla mtchana, chuletón, pixín-rape, rubiel… todo parrilla o plancha.
