Don' miss it although you will not be able to enjoy spectacular views on the river Rhine. But most probably one of the most beautiful ensembles of a castle with parts from various periods. And enjoy a nice glass of wine, too

With friends for dinner; sitting in the atrium. My gut was not so memorable, but my dessert was excellent. Our service was very good. Only not sure that I would return because it is quite expensive and their are excellent alternatives in Oestrich Winkle.

Nice place. On a beautiful day so everything made look so beautiful. We were lucky as a group to have access to the manor and a nice meal naturally enjoyed the amazing Riesling. The classic dry is my favorite. And the tower with the surrounding most is spectacular.

We had a very nice visit to the wine tasting room. The manager was very helpful in his knowledge and guidance on wines we might like. His guidance was spot on. We bought a few cases on his recommendations. The grounds are beautiful to stroll even in the cool of the fall. A definite must visit for any in pursuit of beautiful wine.

After a hike through the forest above the Rhine, what a pleasure it was to eat outdoors in the beautiful setting of Schloss Vollrads. The food was first class and beautifully presented. The wine was perfect too. It is a shame the restaurant no longer does the small-portion tasting menu that it did in the past. One can have a full menu or a la carte. However service, food and wine couldn't be faulted. The waiter spoke perfect English.

We celebrated our wedding at Schloss Vollrads at the end of August 2018. The venue and staff were amazing and so was the food. The event management team was extremely efficient and provided us with great advice all along the preparation process and helped us execute our plans flawlessly on our big day. The venue in itself was greatly appreciated by our guests who also made pleasant comments about the service staff. We have come here without reservation on a nice Saturday for lunch. We were lucky and got a table as the food was amazing, they had also a kids menu with very good chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc. However the main attraction is the food for adults of course. If it was not for the slow service (we arrived and ordered first but only received the food after 40 minutes when other tables had already been served. I was not in the restaurant, but outside and ordered a Greek salad and a coffee. I have often been in Vollrads Castle and enjoyed the wine especially, but the price increase for the food and beverages since I last came was annoyed me. Admittedly, many places had to increase prices due to Corona, but if you increase prices, at least make the portion sizes ok. The Greek salad was really tiny to fill only half the plastic container, and for the price, considering that it is not a sitting restaurant, I was not happy. My husband and I had our wedding celebration at Schloss Vollrads - first garden reception and then dinner at Gutsrestaurant. Everything about the location is perfect - old but well maintained buildings, surrounded by stunning vineyards and a marvelous garden with a bowling Allee for the 18th century. The food was great, service and overall ambiance - top notch! Events team was incredibly friendly, helpful and flexible throughout the preparation stage as well as on the day itself!
