"Terrible experience—avoid this place. We should have left when we found it completely empty on a Saturday night, but my partner was craving a steak. There were plenty of staff around, but the greeting we received was far from friendly. The restaurant desperately needed a thorough cleaning; numerous decorative items were scattered throughout, but they were all covered in dust and cobwebs. Given that there were no other customers, I would have expected the staff to use their downtime to tidy up. Additionally, there’s no table service; all orders must be placed and paid for at the bar, which added to the inconvenience. The restrooms were even dirtier and more rundown than the dining area. As for the food, it was disappointing—my partner did not enjoy the steak at all, and I wasn’t satisfied with my meal either."

Fabulous food, I visited recently with all my family, a party of 8, everyone enjoyed the food, service was very good. We used to visit regularly also when it was called Cotton Eye Joe's! As I entered the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the charming atmosphere reminiscent of a classic American diner, particularly a Southern one. The waitress who attended to me was delightful, consistently checking in to ensure I had everything I needed—a quality you appreciate in any dining experience. The calamari was delicious and made for a great starter, while I thoroughly enjoyed the Rump as my main dish. The prices were quite reasonable given what I ordered. Overall, it was a lovely place to dine, and I would gladly return. Food rating: 4.
