Absolutely lovely pub, proper no nonsense food. My wife had the chilli con carni, and I had the bangers and mash. Certainly recommend this pub for food and the people.

I can’t rate the food highly enough. A steak pie taken to another level. Gorgeous. Nice Guinness and Taylor’s Landlord to go with it. An extensive menu that I’m sure all of which would be equally delicious. I’m planning on going back to find out.

Ate here for the first time for Sunday lunch. Booked a table in the bar as our friends had a dog. (No dogs in main lounge) Warm welcome on arrival, excellent service and delicious Sunday lunch. Booked a Sunday lunch . Beef roast dinner. Poor. We thought we had been given child portions . The beef a good vet could have revived The roast potatoes were rock hard. The single Yorkshire pudding small poor. And the vegetables, ! We did wait a short while as we thought another portion of veg was coming but nope !!! Won’t be going there again.

Booked the Venue on 10th May for a casual lunch reunion of 14. mostly couples. We were allocated a room for our sole occupancy. Simon Clare (Proprietors) couldn't have been more helpful. The drinks and food ordering service throughout was exemplary, very efficient and speedy. The Meal was excellent, chefs were amazing delivering 9 differing main courses without any delay. For anyone celebrating an occasion. St Vincent is an Ideal venue in a pretty location.

The st Vincent Arms is a traditional village pub with several rooms. It has a wide range of beers, lager and cider, including five hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The pub has a very good reputation for the real ales, and it has featured in the camra good beer guide for over forty years. The cask ale was, as always, in excellent condition when I called in. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are no bar games. The pub is mainly a food pub, the meals are good and the pub gets very busy. The bar is dog friendly, and there is outside seating.
