"Got deliveroo, so may be different in the food court. Ordered hainanese chicken rice (a Singaporean hawker favourite), roti canai and sambal. The roti canai was great, potentially 50p or £1 too expensive but still great. Definitely order this. The hainanese chicken was mixed the sauce had great flavours. The chicken tasted nice but there wasn't enough meat if I compare it to $3sgd 5 hawker dishes I'd say they often have double the meat. At £9 I think there could be more meat, and less rice. For £9 it would also be a nice to have the usual accompaniments of Soy sauce, chilli sauce etc pots. Perhaps you get these if you eat in.Finally the sambal. This had some nice flavours, perhaps needed to be kicked up a notch on the spice front and probably reduced to about £1.5 or £2 max given the size of the pot. It's £2.80 on Deliveroo but 1.80 in store it seems. Perhaps an error? All in all, good enough that I'll be trying the laksa and Nasi Goreng soon!Edit: I think many of the prices on deliveroo are higher, probably the cater for the margins deliveroo take. Probably better to go and collect!"

Excellent traditional Malaysian dishes like Nasi Lemak, Char Kway Teow etc. It reminds me of the hawker stalls in Malaysia.

This restaurant offers a great representation of the Pacific Asia region, featuring dishes from China, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, and more. The food is authentic, quick, and fresh. What truly stands out is the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere.

The noodles were well sauced and with plenty of egg, fish and chicken to keep every bite very varied texturally. The spice level of the noodles and the salad were both a bit too mild for my liking, the spice was not very detectable in the salad especially.

Great place if you are missing some Malaysian Singaporean palate. You can ask the owners to amp up the spicyness for you if you are looking for something more similar to what you find back in south east asia. Not 100% like for like, comparable to what you find back in asia but probably one of the better ones in the county. Def worth the visits Visualizza piatti

The venue was initially the Supreme Electrical Discount Superstore in 1980. Since then, it has undergone several transformations, most recently becoming Staines Food Court. Most of the dining options feature cuisines from the Far East, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese dishes. However, the place appears cluttered and would benefit from a complete renovation.

I've dined here several times, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help you choose something you'll enjoy. My personal favorites are the Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa. I also highly recommend trying the Guinness chicken wings—they're fantastic! It's definitely a place worth checking out!

As someone of both British and Malaysian heritage, I was pleased to find this option in the food court. I ordered the Hokkien noodles, which were quite nice and fresh. However, I felt that the fried chicken was overpriced for the portion size—either the portion should be larger or the price should be lower. The chicken curry was also on the pricey side, although it was very flavorful. Overall, it was a great experience to try some decent, authentic food, although I believe it doesn't quite measure up to the real thing back in Southeast Asia for me. Nevertheless, it's a lovely place worth trying and enjoying. Visualizza piatti

Being a vegetarian, I truly appreciate how accommodating the owners are—they go out of their way to ensure there are plenty of vegetarian options available. My family raves about the Guinness stout wings, which they say are phenomenal, while I personally can't get enough of the Hokkien Mee. If you're Malaysian, you know how challenging it can be to find good dark sauced noodles away from home. Overall, I've had a fantastic experience, and this place has become a weekly favorite for me. If you're in search of authentic Malaysian food, there's no need to trek out to London; you can find it right here in a food court. I highly, highly recommend giving it a try!

If you haven't experienced the food court yet, you're truly missing out! It features a variety of Asian cuisines, along with a bar and a bubble tea stand. It's fantastic to have such a place in Staines, especially since finding traditional bubble tea or authentic dishes usually requires a trip to Central London. I've tried almost everything at the food court, and I can confidently say it's exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly, and they're always ready to help if you can't decide what to order! A couple of my favorites include Tea Me, which serves delicious bubble tea, and as a Chinese-Vietnamese person, I'm proud of the beef pho at the PhoViet stall—it gives me such a comforting, h...

"We had booked a table for 7.30 pm dinner and after waiting in line we’re shown to a table. The table next to us was very very loud and discussing business on a Saturday night. We could not hear each other above their din. After 30 minutes a waiter came to take our order and we asked for a quieter table. We were told to walk outside to the terrace. Essentially this is an area in the thoroughfare of the hotel (inside) behind a wooden low fence. After another 20 minutes I went to find a waiter who said he would come out to take our order. After another 10 minutes I went and found another server. The waiter I had seen before recognised me and hit his hand on his head and came out to us. The starter was delicious but we had to chase up the bottle of wine and never got our glasses of water. When the main course was delivered by a lady she said “Bon appetit” but we said we couldn’t eat without cutlery. She promised us some but we never saw her again. After 5 minutes my husband went and found cutlery because his fish and chips were getting cold. My shepherds pie was tasteless, lots of potato and a thin layer of lamb in a watery tasteless gravy. Nobody ever came back to check on us. They add a discretionary 12.5% tip for a service charge which I didn’t think they deserved so we took the bill to the desk and told the manager of our experience. He blames the management for trying to reduce staff and told us it was our own fault because we voted for Brexit. I pointed out to him I didn’t. He said it is like that every night. He removed the service charge and 20% off the food which was fair but next time I stay at the Sofitel I will bring a picnic and save a pot of money and disappointment."
