"we really liked eating, but were not too happy about the drinks. in the lowlands we often visit michael star restaurants and it is quite normal to order water from the hahn. the waitress said that would be possible, but we got bottled mineral water and later saw that they cost almost 10 euro per. also in a three smichelin star restaurant is the water cheaper. in the lowlands I ordered the half of the glasses of the pairing wine. that's never a problem. but at taku it is. they do not serve half glasses and the price of the pairing wines is also ridiculous. 85 euro for 6 glasses of 100 ml (and 100 ml it is, no more nips) and the pairing was mostly ok, but sometimes I did not agree with the sommelier. I wouldn't sauvignon blanc with a spicy dish. the funeral of my friend went better with the court and a cocktail with the dessert? I would have preferred a white wine. the atmosphere is luxurious and the staff ok. I missed a table or something to hang up my bag for my bag and if you go to the plough, don't expect your serviette to be folded by now. Maybe I'm too critical."

a deserved michelin star, we enjoyed the experience. it was our first Asian inspired turn to a tasting menu. All about the experience was excellent.

We ate three shared dishes, the octopus, the shrimp soup and the fried lettuce which all were very good. The recommended wines were excellent. Service was outstanding.

We were curious to try this restaurant and it was worth the time. We chose both vegan and meat course. Each plate we got was simply perfect, different combination of groceries combined with a very discreet and helpfull staff. A must come back restaurant. Visualizza piatti

We took the tasting menu everything was fine with a special mention to the octopus the food is a very good deal however the wines are very expensive stay with the local ones if you are not ready to pay the price of a 3...stars. Some of the dishes were a bit too salty

When I was told an Asian restaurant had one Michelin star I was not interested. We have lived on Penang Island for 3 years so we know some of the best Asian food in the world, and you cannot walk around Penang Island awarding Michelin...stars as This style of food changes every day. However Taku is different. Although it is Asian in origin, I would not call it Asian, but modern cuisine. The food is superb, the chef’s skill at arranging and matching of flavors is delightful. Everyone should experience this restaurant.

The evening got off to a great start. Perfect ambiance, well received and an exciting 5 course tasting menu. Then it went rapidly downhill. We had to wait 1 hour 20 mins to get the first course which was simple poached cod... and it was...tepid. The manager had decided that the pairing wines would be biological. They were not just poor but some not drinkable. The only redeeming point from the evening was that the rest of the courses were excellent. Pity that a potentially very good restaurant makes some basic mistakes. Visualizza piatti

they can only order in the tasting menu. they get a selection of four courses and dessert or six and one dessert and weeping when they choose so. I had two glasses wein (not the pairing) and they were very tasty but poured. free from the bottle and during the price was reasonable at €10.5, I felt as if it were only 4 ounces each time. I love tasting menus and this one was not taken. service was really good and very attentive. I enjoyed the taste of eating and how to add the various items in each cure. it is expensive, so I only say for special occasions.

Does one Michelin star justify Euro 300 for 4? Maybe, but we felt underserved: for one, while delicious and accompanied by many greetings from the kitchen , the Euro 24 32 priced entrees are very small even if it were appetizers. Now, if you do not...want to order a whole 4 7 course menu, some items are priced separately. If you think you can order these a la carte think again: the rule is that every table can only order from the same 6 7 menu courses, e.g. the so called Spielwiese . Should you have the idea to order items that are marked with a price, but are from other several course menus, your order will not be accepted. Who came up with that? Finally, our server was friendly but couldn...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
