I was celebrating my birthday with family,it was an excellent evening,both food and service ,really enjoyable evening.Will definitely come again .

Been this evening for a beautiful meal, could not find fault with anything and had a stunning sharing dessert. The whole meal with yum, we just had to wait a little while for food to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.

One of my local pubs. Staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Maybe the meals are a bit pricey but the quality is invariably top-notch. In summer dining out is a great experience; the views across the Loxley valley are just wonderful.

after 2 or 3 years the female group returned and we were all disappointed by the standard of food served and beside a young waitress was sued servier staff and not helpful. a sad experience after our long-term joy at admiral rodney. what happened?

came for Sunday lunch with the whole family. great service. beautiful cozy atmosphere with magnificent views over the loxley valley. had pate for starter and lamb shaft. gravy is delicious and tasty and the waiter was very helpful and could not do enough for us. would definitely recommend for a family meal.

my recommendation would be on ease. the personal is very attentive. the food is in order. one of our party had to wait because his meal was burned. it was good that they did not serve the burned part, but it made for an unprecedented experience. in fairness he was offered a free dessert in recompense. I guess accidents can happen, but we have not forgotten to think that we need to return in the near future,

came for a meal with the whole family. I had pate followed by truthahn for the head. eating was nice- honest the best I had for a long time-- delicious, well made and good quality ingredients. the children's dishes are very generous and beautiful- enough for our teenager! all employees were polite, thoughtful and welcoming, adding to our experience. a fantastic opposite with spectacular view - we even had a walk to the garden center along the road to our evening meal free and relaxing. we can't expect to come back. keep the good work admiral rodney!

once an empty run for vegetarian it is great to see the admiral that surfs the vegan wave along with other vintage inns. in such a beautiful location, while still close to the city, this popular esserei is now somewhere they can go with the Malzoan family members. the menu looks great with good options for starter, net and dessert. However, the improvement is necessary with eating, although it is quite good for a first attempt. the glazed, roasted aubergine roller is only the spicy aubergine in a broth roller. the coconut-Veg-Curry looks great, but is quite bland. eating looks good and they were thrilled for feedback, so I think there is great potential for vintage inns to become a go-to pla...

Extremely disappointed! Took my mother for an early Mother's Day treat and was so disappointed. First of all our on-line booking through open table was not on the Admiral Rodney's list of bookings. They did find us a table but then we waited so long (10 past 7 from 6pm) for our main courses we had to ask where they were. As if by magic they appeared, having probably been under a lamp for half an our. The presentation was a disgrace and not to the standards I expect from the venue. We ordered Hunters Chicken. It had a piece of what tasted like plastic ham on top of a piece of chicken with a little pot of BBQ sauce with a few chips thrown on the plate. No sign of any cheese. Definately not Hun...
