"Our formerly beloved restaurant in Tamworth provided a sadly disappointing experience. We were unable to order monkfish, scallops, or salmon, and had to wait an hour for our main courses. The lamb chops were served without potatoes, the vegetables were lukewarm, and we had to actively seek out a waitress to order dessert. Additionally, workmen in dirty clothes were coming in and out, and a rowdy group of young men were loudly shouting and laughing in the back of the restaurant. Our bill came to £150, even though two members of our party did not drink. Despite the issues, I still tipped the waitress as she acknowledged the poor service was not her fault. It's unlikely that we will be returning to this restaurant in the near future."

Food is nice. With a good menu. Nice enviroment and friendly staff. Only reason i am not giving it 5* is because the waitress didn't come to take our order for desert and cocktails.

beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. waited a little longer than it would have wished, but when the food was served it was excellent and delicious! I couldn't manage all my half rotisserie chicken and chips, so asked a Doggy bag, who would like to provide employees. will be 100% revisited

absolutely wonderful evening after I had been with friends in a show. it was our first time in the albert bar/restaurant. loved the layout in the inner, wonderful food and drinks and a nice friendly team and nice kind of people dining room. we are coming back in a definitiw. I would certainly recommend.

The food at this restaurant was just okay despite the high prices. This was our third or fourth visit and each time has been slightly worse. It's a shame because the place is highly regarded, but we will be trying other restaurants in Tamworth as this will likely be our last visit. We recommend trying it out for yourself and forming your own opinion.

Once again proving it to be our 'go to ' restaurant in Tamworth. Our last visit, as a birthday treat from my wife, was late afternoon in the week and we had the place to ourselves after a while. Got to chat with the waitress and her charming 3 year old daughter Alicia who sang Happy Birthday for me. Next visit in two days for my sister 's 60th. Looking forward to it.

I have visited this restaurant twice with my family and I am extremely impressed with the service and the quality of food. It was difficult to find a restaurant in Tamworth that serves a good steak, but now I am happy. The filet is amazing, the homemade chips are delicious, and the Greek salad is authentic. My wife and daughters loved the cocktails and the staff and chef were very friendly. Thank you for another fabulous evening. I would rate my experience 10/10.
