"I am appalled by the service of one particular member of staff who thought it was clever to sail past customers that had been queuing and the bar and serve others. Management need to train staff on how to observe a bar and not make customers feel like they shouldn’t be there! When challenged did not come to the customer and have a conversation instead thought it was big and clever to shout across the bar…, not professional at all! Been using this pub for a while and can say that I have never had any issues until the last couple of days, shocking!"

Great looking building with lots of history. Service was very quick, price was good and staff were friendly. Would recommend.

Only visited for drinks, and there was a good selection. There is plenty of seating area (though Christmas busy). Good customer service.

Was extremely busy, had too ask for table to be cleaned,waited 30 mins for meal , which was good when arrived, then had to ask where are the drinks we ordered? through app, ,eventually came after food .

The social melting pot of Aldridge. Great food, great range of beers. Meal for 2 with drinks cost less than for 1 person elsewhere Is there any where else you can eat in after 9.30 pm without pre booking!??

Absolutely dreadful service. Spoke to the manager who consistently said I will sort the situation which never happened. Disgrace on the weather-spoon brand and needs to be sorted. Plenty of local pubs nearby by which are far far better.

Fortunately got a table to eat with my old colleagues as so popular. It seems to be the only place where I can select a healthy, 'slimming world ' meal... Baked potato, beans and salad. My friend had the 5 bean salad, also healthy choice. Absolutely delicious and filling. Definitely will eat here again!

Don't know why, there's just something about this pub that didn't sit right with me. It's nice enough, but seems to be missing that special Wetherspoons atmosphere. There are two outside seating areas. The front faces a main road and the rear feels like you're sat in Morrisons carpark! Both areas are very busy and feel ever so exposed and uncomfortable with the amount of traffic and pedestrians.

Ordered a meal price was good. Beer was good. Down hill from there, chips were stone cold no exaggeration. Ignored by first member of staff. Second one came over kept our burgers as was starving. Said would bring us fresh chips. The chips wasn't fresh just microwaved as the chip I had bitten into was still on plate this could of been given to the person I was with. And the plates were so hot could hardly touch.
