"I lived in Italy for a while, so I am familiar with Italian kitchen. Therefore I must say that I was very satisfied with Gio's food quality and the taste. I am just kind of surprised that some people are complaining about some dishes i.e not like a soup, not like a lasagna etc). Because what I tried there is a proper and tasteful Italian food. Whoever is complaining, probably never been to local trattoria in Italy or to Italy at all. Totally loved the food and the warm, friendly service provided."

We have had a group meal and the chef bought out a selection of meals and pizzas for all. Pizzas were authentic in style and full of flavour and the mains were very tasty. We visited Gio's on Valentine's night and had a wonderful evening. We have visited several times before and as always the food was excellent, the service was friendly but not over-done. We have already booked our next night out. The chef was constantly chatting to all the customers and making them feel at home!

I was recommended to try Gio's, so five of us went there this evening. We opted for the taster menu priced at £13.50, which included a starter of soup with homemade bread and antipasti, followed by four pasta courses, a sweet dish, and coffee. We couldn't find any faults with the food and there was plenty of it. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere at Gio's.
