"My husband and I were staying in our caravans at Poplars Farm in Hulland Ward, near Ashbourne. We visited this pub on Sunday for a drink and were warmly welcomed. We even played darts with the friendly regulars. Last night, on Thursday, we walked over from our caravan, which took 7 minutes. We had drinks and then ordered the blackburgers with black pudding and apples, served with chips and salad. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return when we come back with our caravan. I highly recommend this pub - it was busy even on a Thursday night. A great spot for eating and drinking."

I want to thank you for hosting a wonderful buffet for Maureen's birthday yesterday. The food was delicious once again during lunch today. Everything was excellent and we always receive a warm welcome.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The price per person is between £90 and £100, but it is well worth it for the quality of the experience. Five stars for the food, service, and atmosphere.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant and decided to have a meal there. I thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding food and the very friendly staff. We had a lovely meal here on Friday and popped back for a drink on Saturday while we were camping just up the road. The pub is warm and friendly and the staff are fantastic, very friendly and can not do enough for you. Patrons were friendly too. Will definitely call in again on our next trip.

Black Horse a great place, friendly atmosphere excellent Food at reasonable prices. Staff cant do enough for you to make your visit special. All in all brilliant.
