"Lucas and Harley made our visit. We came from Lincolnshire for a walk and thought we would grab a drink before we headed home. Lucas gave us a warm welcome and was so friendly we decided to stay for food, he gave us recommendations on the menu and we had the duck dumplings that were amazing but the strawberry and balsamic salad was the best surprise, we both had the BLT for our main and it didn't disappoint, it came in soft bread with a perfect crust and with old fashioned proper cooked chips. Lucas pointed us towards the QR code that meant we could choose our music, which we did. Harley the chef came out front and made conversation, we even got to try some menu experiments that were delicious! What a beautiful pub but it was definitely the hospitality that has made our afternoon. Thank you and we will see you again!"

Very good food and good sized portions. It’s perhaps a little more expensive than typical “pub grub” in the area but definitely value for money. Lovely, friendly staff couldn’t do enough to help.

A village pub with high standards and a great selection of local gins. The barman owner was friendly and informative and the locals wished us goodbye as we left. We'll definately return for a meal and more atmosphere.

The food and service was fantastic, the chips were the best I’ve ever tasted. We also loved Alfie the acoustic guitarist, such a shame there weren’t more people in to listen to him, think everyone was watching the football!!

We recently had dinner as a family of 14 upstairs in the restaurant and everything was great. The chef was working alone and somehow managed to have everything ready at the same time, I truly don’t know how he did it. Service from Lucas was brilliant and prices were really reasonable

Really great pub, the staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was insane, absolutely delicious. I can't recommend here more, I'll definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff at The Black Swan, but in particular the front of house manager Lukas who catered to our every need and the head chef Harley who has clearly put in incredible effort and care into every dish we were served!
