"The service here was excellent. I had the best fish cake I've ever tasted, which included scallops, prawns, salmon, cauliflower, and mushrooms, all topped with a delightful herbed crust made of potatoes. We stopped by the pub while walking along the lovely Union Canal, and the staff kindly allowed us to keep our camper overnight in their parking lot. There’s plenty of protected and heated outdoor seating available for those who prefer to enjoy their meals outside. Additionally, they have electric charging stations available as well. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

Went to the Boat today for Sunday lunch and it was first class staff was great and the food was amazing, I would highly recommend it.

As always, I have visited this restaurant several times throughout different seasons for lunch, dinner, and Sunday meals. Each time has been a truly remarkable dining experience. I would especially recommend it, as my most recent visit was for my 50th birthday celebration.

I visited yesterday for Sunday dinner and made a reservation on short notice. Even though the kitchen was running at a lower capacity, our meals were served quickly and were absolutely delicious. The roast was outstanding (we had beef and chicken) and came with vegetables, gravy, and cauliflower cheese on the side. I would definitely go back!

We visit on Friday and the weather was amazing, so we decided to go down to our local beer garden. Was very busy which was expected with the amazing garden you have. The atmosphere in the pub was amazing and the staff still in high spirits considering how hot it was. Food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Our server was Lauren and was very attentive. Once we entered the bootsassistent manager tammy could not be enough for us very professional it was nice to see that she also worked behind the bar and was a good example for the rest of the staff. it ensures that all customers were satisfied. the last time we came into the boat was about 3 years ago it was good then and now it had a rebuild, it is even better that eating was deliciously presented I just want to say a great thank you to the chefs. I would definitely recommend the boot and I will be back
