"This place is always heaving with tourists whatever the season and whatever the weather, but you'll find that most of the locals at the coffee shop near the watersplash as a result. The food is nice, but nothing fancy, although the chicken salsa wraps are very tasty and portion sizes very good. It's really oldey-worldey which is probably why it's so popular with the tourists, particularly the grey haired brigade, and is decorated accordingly. Carpet seems an odd choice for somewhere where kids and elderly people drop so much food on the floor, but the tables are always spotlessly clean. They do have a small area where you can sit outside if the weather's nice, but it just feels like a corner of the car park so doesn't particularly appeal."

Everything about our visit today was fantastic, the service was welcoming and friendly, food delicious and cakes were beautiful. Very dog friendly too, the perfect pit stop for lunch!

Stopped off in Brockenhurst for something to eat at lunchtime and luckily chose The Buttery... Friendly staff, great food and clean non-sticky tables... I would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area...

very warm and welcoming and popular among those from the village, as everyone seemed to know each other what is always beautiful. the price was quite as much as expected, was busy, but only enough space to put us. would recommend.

this is a wonderful tee room with beautiful, helpful staff. the food was delicious and well presented. the menu is varied, from cooked breakfast to creamtees with sandwiches, salads and cakes in between. dog-friendly. highly recommended.

The restaurant was very cozy and inviting, and it seemed to be a favorite among locals as everyone seemed to be acquainted with each other, which created a nice atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, and even though it was crowded, we were able to find a seat without much difficulty. I would definitely recommend this place.

This restaurant is fantastic. We stopped by for lunch and were impressed by their dog-friendly atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Their selection of sweet treats, such as cakes, is amazing and the cream tea was easily the best I've ever had. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area again.
