choose between pizza or burger. overcooked and overpriced sad trage of a burger! £10.50 for a 6oz burger packed in cheap foil on a burned bungalow. pay them extra if they want overcooked chips to complete the experience!

have been sitting here with my son like marlowes burger before and they are the best! pre ordered the eating, but in the pub enjoy the friendly service and a few beers. the burgers are not the cheapest, especially when they add extra bark meat...but when they have eaten one, they go back

Fantastic pub and the staff are brilliant and helpful. I lost my wedding ring and they couldn’t do enough to help me find it, which they did. Thank you Owen for you help and promise I will get you a drink next time I’m in. Really tuff to review this pub as it's really nice cosey and staff are friendly! However, I found the food very overpriced and the quality for the price was extremely poor. The burger crumbled half way through while I was eating it! I would go back for a drink but not for the food. 1/5 for food 3/5 pub atmosphere. Found this wonderful old pub in Sevenoaks. We were only here for the night and so pleased that we chose this place for the evening. The service was so good. Really friendly and welcoming. Such a great atmosphere and to top it all off...the best burgers ever. So delicious, so fresh. The thing is, when you have a simple menu and you do it with care and excellence, what can you say? Only one thing. Fab!! Thank you for a wonderful evening and all the very best to you

We had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was glorious. Lamb shank cooked to perfection, vegan option (butternut squash roast) filling and tasty (and I’m not vegan), vegetables delicious, and the Yorkshire pudding the best I can remember encountering. All of this in a warm...(there’s an open fire) and welcoming (staff were brilliant) environment that felt COVID-safe without a big fuss. I ate far too much it was too good to leave on the plate. The menu has a good range of non-roast options though: the scampi bites and the sausage baguette looked great and soup, salad and, in fact, everything sounded tempting. And all very good value! Throw in a lack of pretension and a proper traditional pub...

since we haven't been back a few years after a busy lunch earlier and thought that it might have visited better chequers on Wednesday for a Christmas dinner. I ordered a few drinks and asked to start a tab as we order. I'm sorry to have a look at the menu so we can only find it on pizzas, burger and extras. at least decided to settle for burger with extras and returned to the bar to be greeted by a sharp barman asking if I was right. mention the command to say, I'm sorry that cucumber should tell them before we only make pizzas none of the bar staff wore masks. Once they were finished, the workers met in front of the door to smoke their blur. we left our drinks and found a much better place...
