"My husband and I visited on a Sunday so opted for a Roast. We usually go to another place, but came here as haven’t been for years. The building itself is greatly improved, but I have to complain that the roast beef was really tough and couldn’t be cut, let alone be chewed and swallowed. My husband left the whole lot on the plate.how they can serve it that way astonishes me! I also requested some more gravy as we only received a small amount. However I was told to go back to the till which I presume meant that we had to pay for more gravy (not enough to start with). Surely a little bit more hot water on some gravy granuals wouldn’t be too much trouble for a meal that wasn’t cheap! I was going to complain to the waitress but my husband didn’t want the grief so I have left my views of the place on here. Suffice to say we shall not be returning!!! Lost customers!!!"
