We've been regulars here for about a year now and the food is excellent and the waitress Toni is a credit to the place. She is quick, efficient and so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Well done and keep up the good work.

Forgot all about this cafe . Haven’t been in since covid. So it’s always busy. That tells me it must be good. Wasn’t disappointed. Only had coffee this time but saw some lovely meals coming out at very reasonable prices. Definitely go again next time in Hull.

The place has realy livened up. The former people who ran it was very moody. Now its so polite due to a member of staff called Toni. She, yes she is the best waitress I have ever encountered. She should have a pay rise for her amazing work. Very polite girl Indeed. Opening times should be later as its such a nice place to be.

Told firmly the grill was off and they weren't cooking anymore food. This was 2.30 Saturday afternoon 28th Oct. She lost at least a tenner we would have spent if she'd let us. BAD SERVICE and bad business. Basically we were an inconvenience. All tables had been washed down and wet. A cafe with no food? Any point being open? We left to find some food elsewhere

The coffe house in hull is in my opinion one of the best cafe's in the town centre, we have been in most of them and we always end up coming back here, very nice food and very hot coffee. The three young ladies who serve the food are very friendly, the two who serve on the weekend and the lovely young lady who serves all week, yes we have plenty of cafe's in hull town centre, but this one takes some beating, long live the latte and lemonade, and may they long serve.

My partner and I come here regularly, usually for breakfast before hitting the shops though the dinners are good too. The prices are great and we love the relaxed old world charm of the place. The food and coffee are lovely and there's more than enough for the money plus the waitress, Toni, is amazing. She's very professional, helpful and friendly and we always look forward to having a quick chat with her as she's serving us. She's a natural and remembers everyone which means we usually choose to tip her for the exemplary service. Thank you.

So happy to have discovered this gem! Huge shout out to Toni who worked none stop, making sure myself and every other customer where seen to and happy, so polite and amazing customer service! Cannot recommend this place enough, I was wanting a place to grab food and do some work on my own, sometimes eating solo can be intimidating but this place has such a cosy welcoming feel for all! Perfect for quick lunch stop or a sit down meal with friends, family, loved ones and even on your own! There is even a little seating area outside which I can imagine would be lovely in the summer time Food was 10/10, so many options to chose from and portion sizes are very generous! We popped in for lunch and a 'proper coffee '. The café was warm and welcoming when we arrived. Relaxing ambience too. It was like stepping back in time, in a good way. After perusing the menu, which had a great choice of snacks and lunches, along with a vast selection of coffees and teas, we decided on a vegetable curry, and a jacket potato with extra toppings. The food and drinks were well presented and plentiful. Considering most of the tables were occupied, we didn 't have to wait long to be served. Nor did we wait very long for the food to arrive. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Might I add, the prices were extremely reasonable for the good quality of ingredients. We were ni...
