"We hosted our daughter's christening party at the Crown and we cannot praise the venue enough. We contacted the staff a month in advance and they were very helpful in explaining the food and drink options. They even offered to help with decorations and party favors, which was a great help as our guests arrived before us after the christening. The buffet was delicious, with a variety of food to suit all tastes. The sandwiches and rolls were a particular favorite of mine! The service was excellent, with quick and friendly service that put everyone at ease. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend the Crown as a venue for parties, gatherings, or small weddings. The pub has a cozy English country feel with a modern and bright atmosphere, and the food is far better than your average pub fare. Thank you to everyone at the Crown for a fantastic event!"

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while staying nearby and we are so happy we did. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the potted crab and fishcakes, both were amazing. For our main course, we had bangers and mash and the chicken burger, both were flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. For dessert, we ordered the crumble and sticky toffee, which were also generously portioned and tasted fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant!
