"We just had our second visit to The Crown while visiting family, and we can't find any faults with it. The room was clean and tidy, making it feel just like home. We even enjoyed complimentary clotted cream biscuits. The breakfast was delightful, with options for a cooked breakfast as well! We dined in the restaurant twice, and we loved the fish and chips, as well as the delicious Sunday roast. Don't miss the treacle pudding with clotted cream—it's a must-try! Although it’s a bit off the beaten path, it’s definitely worth it. The landlord is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be sure to try the cold river cider; it's incredible. Beautiful pub. Went with friends although very busy, the service was very good the staff friendly. Even the landlord, although very shy retiring , was fun attentive.
