"Lovely pub, not a lovely experience . Sunday Lunch Before we visited we looked up the menu for Sunday lunch The download menu states £19.50 , I think for Beef or lamb. But if you just check Sunday lunch menu at the top of pubs website, it states £21.00 Beef or Pork When you arrive they fancy their chances by charging £24.50 , Beef or lamb Also says you get cauliflower cheese, we didn 't , but we did get one and a half carrots , and the beef for the price was well over cooked . Overall the meal was poor. We wanted sticky toffee pudding for dessert , they had no sticky toffee pudding. Landlord was rude too, serving staff were pleasant. Overall, not recommended , maybe an off day on the food front, but no excuse for the misleading, varied prices depending on where you happen to look. If the Crown thinks it can push its prices for close to £25 , or £21 or £19.50 for a basic roast dinner, it needs to be the best pub Sunday lunch in the area, it 's nowhere near , maybe go back to £15.00 , and work up from there until the offering is representative of the price. Poor experience ...."

Could not fault our evening out! Friendly staff, a cosy, inviting and homely atmosphere, the most amazing food, would highly recommend and will definitely be going back time and time again!

The Crown at Arford is a lovely pub that has recently made changes to improve the garden and interior. We sat outside for a fantastic Sunday lunch. Beautifully served and cooked to perfection! The menu changes every week and the staff are lovely. We will definitely be back for more! Good to see this local pub doing well and being supported.

We were excited to order the roast beef, a dish we had enjoyed in the past. However, we were disappointed to find that the beef was tough and lower quality than previous experiences. The table we were seated at was not clean, with spiders on the chair and spider webs covering the table and windowsill. This was not the standard we expected when dining out. Visualizza piatti

Having fond memories of The Crown as a cozy and inviting village pub from my time in Headley several years ago, my party and I decided to book a table for Saturday lunch at 2pm. Despite there being only one other table occupied, there was a delay in receiving our food. However, the biggest disappointment came when we tried to order dessert (2 affogatos) and were abruptly informed that the pub would be closing in just 5 minutes. The service was cold and unwelcoming, the food was lackluster, and overall, the experience was not worth the price. It's a pity to see a once charming establishment fall short of expectations.

We live close by to this lovely pub and, to our shame, had not visited before. We have tended to drive to pubs in the surrounding areas and now wonder why we bothered with this gem so close by. All the staff were so welcoming to us and our dog and the interior has been very tastefully updated. As for the food, it really was the best pub food I have had in ages. Beautifully presented and cooked with really wonderful flavours. My Sea Trout was divine and my chosen dessert of Limoncello Panetonne bread and butter puddings was gorgeous. There are several parking spaces opposite the pub adjacent to a very nice terraced outside seating area. If you're in the surrounding area of East Hampshire, you...

Although the Crown is our nearest pub, we'd not yet eaten here under current ownership as it always seemed quite pricey we tend to pop down for a coupla pints (their ales are always well kept) then eat at home instead. We decided to push the boat out and give it a go and I'm really glad we did. The menu isn't all run of the mill stuff, so you have the option to try something different if you want to. It isn't cheap, but the quality was really, really good and there was plenty of it (I'd been worried portion sizes might be small, but am happy to report this wasn't the case). The bread basket with whipped butter was lovely, the venison was melt in your mouth and the sticky toffee pudding was t... Visualizza piatti

Me, the wife and the dog, dropped in here as we 'd been out walking locally. What a lovely pub this is! It just felt so cosy and friendly. The staff were really nice and the bar lady paid special attention to Bert, our dog, bringing him a bowl of water and a couple of dog biscuit treats. Of course that meant that he had to show off his 'roll over ' trick, to get the second treat. She loved that! So we both had the roast pork dinner. This looked amazing, with a nice amount of meat, veggies, roast spuds. Just the right amount in our opinions. And it tasted superb! Spuds done perfectly, some pork crackling on the side and delicious gravy. My wife even commented to the lady that it was the best...

The wifi at The Crown leads us to believe that this is the ideal countryside pub, and it may be just that. I couldn't find anything to criticize about this fantastic establishment. The friendly lady serving behind the bar provided well-kept ales and a wide selection of spirits while also tending to the fires. The locals brought their dogs along, adding to the charming atmosphere, and each dog was greeted with a treat upon arrival. Inside, the cozy restaurant featured another log fire. The young waitresses were personable and funny, and the menu, though concise, was well-rounded. We enjoyed a bread board, burrata, and roasted cauliflower, ending with a delicious creme brulee. The food was tru...
