"During our trip to the King's Lynn parkrun, we discovered this charming cafe and decided to visit on our way back. The welcoming atmosphere and laid-back environment made for a great experience, although it may not be the best choice if you're in a rush. The small venue is tastefully decorated with local artifacts and the unique touch of using recycled vinyl LPs as placemats. We enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast with a hot drink, which was both satisfying and reasonably priced. Located slightly outside of town near the South Gate, this cafe is definitely worth a visit."

Lovely little cafe, very friendly owner. Popped in to warm up with a hot chocolate and a baguette on a cold morning.

Popped in for a quick lunch: much enjoyed. A good range of freshly prepared dishes. The place is small and cosy: but also very friendly. Good to see the place flourishing. Visualizza piatti

Embarrassingly my first visit. I live very close. Had a bacon roll with brown sauce. Very friendly staff. Good price but more importantly great tucker. I will be visiting again.

We stopped at this cafe for breakfast. I had the sausage, bacon and egg in a muffin. It was freshly cooked and really tasty. The proprietor was really lovely and we were able to park right outside.

Similar to others, we were staying at the Travelodge and were in search of a nearby spot for an early breakfast. This cafe was a fantastic discovery. The food was delicious, expertly prepared, and reasonably priced. The vintage-style decor of the cafe made it cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation. We stayed at the Travelodge while on a weekend visit to the area and neither the hotel or the pub next door do breakfast. No problem. We found the Daily Grind, just a five minute walk from the hotel and had a piping hot excellent cooked breakfast on two days of our stay unfortunately it's closed on Sundays! The Owner is very friendly and welcoming as were the local regulars there at the same time as us and the quirky interior is great. It is small though, just 6 or 7 tables.

I am friends with the owner, Mandy, but that is not the only reason I am giving this place a positive review. The food is excellent here. While they don't offer chips or fried items, everything else on the menu is top-notch. I had a sausage and scrambled egg baguette, while my friend had scrambled egg on toast. Both were served with a smile and some friendly banter, along with our beverages. The Daily Grind offers great value, with a diverse menu and delicious cakes to tempt you. Come on in and experience the warm welcome at The Daily Grind!

"We had pre-booked a table for 6 people to have lunch at 2:15pm. We arrived on time and were shown to the table, which had only been set for 4 people which meant we had to pull a further 2 chairs up to the table, and had to request a wine list. We ordered a round of drinks for the table which took c. 15 minutes to arrive. We were waiting a considerable amount of time for a food menu. Eventually we called a waiter over to order some food and were told that the kitchen we no longer serving, despite having booked a table for lunch and not being warned of the kitchen closing time. The staff told us to be quick in ordering however took a further 10 minutes to come and take the order. The food eventually came and the waitress didn 't even put the food at the correct place, she merely put them on the table for us to distribute accordingly. When the bill eventually came, we politely requested the *optional service charge was removed from the bill as we did not feel that we had received adequate service to warrant a tip, to which the manager began shouting that it as shocking that we wanted to rightfully remove the tip. He went on to say that the kitchen staff had stayed over time to prepare our food. My question to the owner is this... if your chefs are unwilling to work over their hours, why are you offering a reservation close to closing time whilst your staff are incapable of processing the orders to the kitchens in the correct timescale and working hours. If we were told that the kitchen were closing soon, we would have cooperated with the staff to help them work to their time scales."
