Had a lovely family meal with great service. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic, beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended to all !

Food is good but very hot , good menu choice and a very cosy restaurant. The staff are very friendly. The only downside is a part of the restaurant is very dark .

Pop in for a cheeky pint, what a a pint they it was. This is a place that look after there line, beer was crisp and good tasty and a well look after place. Definitely will visit again. Visualizza piatti

The Early Bird hosted our wedding meal in August 2023! We couldn’t have imagined how amazing the room was going to look Andreea really did an amazing job and we were so impressed! Then the food… my oh my… what can I say absolutely beautiful! We cannot recommend The Early Bird enough outstanding service all around! Thank you Andreea and Team we will be back!!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Early Bird restaurant. The venue was great, clean (no sticky tables here), with a good variety on the menu and specials board. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating, willing to accommodate special requests for menu changes. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a young lady serve us. She was really attentive accommodating. Food was impressive. We was all very happy with our meals (there was 8 of us). I had lasagne. Some had burgers, fish chips another had chicken. It was all so delicious! The place has a very light airy feel with big windows. Very clean. Toilets are very clean with quirky wall paper, with a bird theme throughout. Would recommend to anyone. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Visualizza piatti

When we all ordered our roast dinners, I double-checked with our server that they had a vegan roast available. She mentioned the nut roast, but when my son's meal arrived, it had a non-vegan Yorkshire pudding on it. After confirming with the server, it was determined that it was not vegan. While she was honest and offered to replace the meal, it was disappointing and could have been a serious issue if my son had allergies. Unfortunately, the same server made both mistakes, which was not acceptable. This experience affected our enjoyment of the meal, and we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I had a disappointing experience at The Oak on the Green in Bearsted two days ago, as our main course took 40 minutes to arrive and was forgotten. However, today at The Early Bird was a completely different story! This local pub/restaurant is very friendly and we have dined there many times. The service and staff are impeccable, efficient, and friendly. Our delicious lunch was served promptly. Even during a busy time like two days before Christmas when there were 6 of us, the service and food were still impeccable. Perhaps The Oak on the Green could learn a thing or two from The Early Bird. I know which pub I would recommend to my friends!

Visited with family and friends. 4 adults and 2 children, most vegetarian. There were a few choices for vegetarians which was nice , and when I emailed to ask about vegetarian children's dishes they were able to give me a list of things not even on the menu. It was fantastic my 6 year old had a choice of veggie nuggets, pizza, pasta, burger, and curry I think. The pizzas were really good, and apparently the fish amd chips was amazing, it was massive! The mushroom stroganoff was sadly very bland and watery which was a shame as it looked amazing!
