We stopped here mid journey to meet with friends before continuing our journey. This pub was friendly and welcoming. There was a decent selection of lunchtime food and my lasagne was one of the best I have ever eaten.

Met Rob and Emerald the new owners who are really friendly. Had fish and chips on the specials night, hubby had the burger, both very enjoyable meals. Harry our waiter was very efficient and friendly. Most definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my first visit to The Fox, mid week lunch in the garden. Landlord gave us a cheerful welcome, happy for you to approach the bar or table service. We chose a spot under the purpose build shade in the garden and enjoyed...

Booked the Fox the dinning room for a family birthday gathering of 18. I spoke to Mark about requirements earlier in the week a hot/ cold buffet . We all had a lovely afternoon everything went perfect the food was great , great catering for two gluten free relatives .

We visited on the off chance of a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed, the Sunday roast meats were perfectly cooked with a nice Yorkshire and fresh veg. Had we had more time we would have stayed for this afternoon. The new management have worked hard to turn the pub around after previous landlords let things go do not go by the previous negative reviews they are no longer relevant

I visited The Fox for my birthday on the 18th of July. After coming under new management, the Fox is the best it’s ever been. The food was incredible, and all of the team that were working were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were also very well priced in my opinion. Overall experience was amazing, highly recommend you visit if you ever have the chance. 11/10!

Here’s a quick review for the fox , we went last night for the Friday fish night and it was amazing we had white bait calamari to start , then both opted for the fish chips with sticky toffee pudding and vanilla cheesecake to finish all the dishes were perfect with fish and chips being one of my favourites it really didn’t disappoint and nice to see hand cut chips which were perfect staff were very attentive , great atmosphere would highly recommend
