This charming traditional country pub offers a delightful experience. The staff is friendly, and the home-cooked meals are fantastic. It’s definitely worth a visit! This is a delightful pub with a warm atmosphere, featuring an open fire, friendly and cheerful staff, and comfortable seating. The prices are reasonable, and there's an impressive selection of drinks. The Christmas decorations are tastefully done. The food is simple yet excellently prepared, flavorful, and fresh. We tried the spaghetti with meatballs, a toad in the hole, and fish and chips, and we had no complaints except that the pasta sauce was a bit too sweet for our liking. The fish was fresh, and the sausages were very flavorful. With two rounds of mostly soft drinks, our total bill came to just £60 for four people.
