"This place is a vegan's paradise and my absolute favorite spot for dining out. It's amazing to have such a wide variety of vegetable-based and fresh dishes to choose from. The high quality ingredients and careful thought put into the menu are evident. My family and I visit almost every weekend and have never been disappointed with anything we've tried. The staff always provides a warm welcome and serves excellent coffee. It's unfortunate that the space is limited and they now only offer takeaway service, but this allows them to sell a range of plant-based deli products for home enjoyment. This small family-owned business truly deserves all the success that comes their way, as everything about it is simply perfect in my opinion."

"We hadn't visited this restaurant in a couple of years and had good memories of it being a special place (we had brought guests here as it was at the top of our list of local restaurants), but our recent experience this week was disappointing. The staff member who greeted us at the door seemed disinterested in being at work, showing no signs of friendliness or engaging in any conversation throughout the evening, including when we paid the bill. First impressions are important. Unfortunately, the food was also lacking. Although the menu descriptions were intriguing with a variety of options, none of our appetizers or main dishes stood out - where were the promised flavors? Bruschetta without garlic or basil? Overall, the food was just "okay" but not worth the price. It seemed like cheap ingredients were used and corners were cut to save money. The restaurant still has a nice ambiance and I'm sure it's lively on weekends, but this historic place deserves better. We will be exploring other dining options in the future. It's a shame, as this restaurant has the potential to be truly special."

"I had heard great things about this place from family and friends but had somehow never got round to visiting. So after an early finish from work we decided to go for lunch. There is a very chilled atmosphere and an eclectic mix of music playing in the background. The lunchtime menu includes a few main dishes with various paninis. I opted for the lamb and harissa burger while my wife went for the cauliflower and chickpea samosa. They don't sell alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own. The bill came to £30 that included soft drinks and coffee. The staff are super friendly and very informative when it comes to explaining the various dishes. We will return to try the dinner menu."

"Booked as a table of 10 (work night out) we are all nurses and having a well deserved night out. Arrived to be told no booking in diary. Person who organised said she booked via Facebook and got a sharp reply “We need to confirm” she said you did and showed him the reply!! Sent to the bar whilst we waited for a table, took around 15 mins. Due to the new covid rules And one way system this meant we had to Go out and come back in when table ready. Plastic screens also on end of tables but to be honest made no difference as the diners were sitting at either side and the screen isn’t wide enough to offer any protection. Some Waiters wearing masks, but most didn’t most of had them on their chin!! Popadom and pickle tray ordered. No idea what was on the pickle tray!! No onion salad or lime pickle, the only one any of us could determine was mango chutney! We all had starters and mains, all food piping hot and no one complained about quality of food. It was all very tasty. Asked for some to be boxed up to take home. Boxes just put in middle of table. One of the group didn’t notice this and his meal was taken and disposed of. Had he had almost 2/3 left! Anywhere else I’ve been they always box for you! Even just a cheap special on ocean road they always box it for you!! Drinks ordered at the table, had to be chased up on one occasion as one drink forgotten. It’s the service that lets this place down. The food is lovely but I’ve had same quality food with better service on ocean road! And it’s cheaper!"

"we were here last week with my friend and ordered burgers. directly on the menu they come with all the sides we wanted (chips, coleslaw salat) which was nice to see as many restaurants try to sell them when they order this item separately. service was quite average (it was bar service as we sat outside) but that was no problem and the staff was friendly. After eating had arrived (on average 20 minutes) we were surprised by the large portions. everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, the burger was a definitiw and one of the best restaurantburgers I ever had. very good price-performance ratio and would definitely visit again! pity that we had not been able to try the puddings but that sounds like an excuse to return, especially after we saw the tapas on the other tables!"
