Even though more expensive it's definitely worth the money. Friendly staff and a great country pub atmosphere

Wonderful Lunch today at the Hawk. Was served by Cathy she was both friendly and attended and very knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely recommend a visit

Been here several times before with the family and has always been good but we went there today and the standard of food has deteriorated to the point that I really don’t want to go back. Very disappointing especially as it so much more expensive now.

I’ve been here a few times and every time the service has been bad. The food is lovely though. I had to ask for the vegan menu as I was just given normal one. We had to ask for a glass of water 4 times as it took over an hour to be brought to the table and it wasn’t even busy.

I’ve been here a few times and would go again 3 stars as it’s not got the biggest Selection of vegan options The website menu say the chips are not vegan but if you ask there are one type of chips that is one of the managers is vegan so you feel your not just being told one thing and really getting another.

This restaurant is really excellent, the experience we had was outstanding from the minute you walk in you are greeted with a very friendly welcome to great fast and efficient service. The food is always hot and the waitress Millie couldn't do enough to make it even more wonderful for us with such attention to detail.

Warm welcome and friendly helpful service. We chose to eat in the bar today. Good ambience, not too busy or noisy. Varied menu and wine was good Food was delicious and well presented Beautifully cooked Ray with capers/ Sea bass Deserts tasteful, piquant Continuous attentive friendly service Chef for the day was Adam, he needs to be congratulated. Often the food is over processed with too much highly flavoured sauce, but today was perfect. The skate was juicy and tender Front of house lead was just lovely! All staff happy to help

Our party of four experienced a great time at The Hawk. Very pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. Our friends dine there regularly whereas we don't and they spoke very highly of it. My friend who always orders it, recommended the sea bass delicious! It was one of the best, if not the best sea bass dish I have ever had! The cod and chips looked amazing and our friend confirmed it was. My husband's steak was just as he likes it and he loved the chips (this is a first for him! .
