The restaurant is lovely, I am very disappointed that this booking service allowed me to book a table and when I called to double check about the use of a high chair I was told there was no trace of our booking and the restaurant was full!! I will not use this booking service again

A bit dissapointed to be honest. Orderded a starter to share on the table and it never arrived. Main courses turned up Sunday Roast and I enquired about the starter. They went to check and stated that it "Never went through". Roast potatoes were hard. They had obviously been kept warm and the skins had hardened so much so they were inedible. I pointed this out when plates were collected.During our meal nobody returned to ask if everything was OK or if we wanted more drinks which we didOvereall very dissapointed as at the time we visited the restaurant was quiet so not as if they were rushed off their feet

We felt we had to wait too long for orders to be taken, then for food to come, then for the dessert menu and then for the desserts.The hot chocolate was not at all nice. The problem we discovered is that they use a mixture of with chocolate, sugar and dried milk and add it to milk. This is very unpleasant and means you don't end up with something that tastes very much like chocolate, more like hot milk. I know a lot of places do this these days and I do not know why, it certainly isn't good for you.Why on earth do they not just use Cadburys Drinking Chocolate the original thing not Cadburys Hot Chocolate. It would be much better

I have been going to the honey bee for a few years now just on the occasional Sunday, the roasts have always been lovely with fresh vegetables that are well cooked and tasty and I really look forward to it, unfortunately tonight the food was awful, The parsnips were rock hard as were the roast potatoes. The Yorkshire was inedible, I couldn’t cut it with my knife or even try and tear apart, the cauliflower cheese was hard and tasteless, I don’t like having to complain, but unless someone says something then how can you change.
