"Yes we went to another Ivy restaurant again this time in St. Albans. The food was incredible and consistent with the other location. This time we had the Salt and Pepper Calamari and Crispy Duck Salad as appetizers. Both mouth watering goodness. Our mains were the Truffle Sausages with potatoes and the Roast beef Sandwich with thick chips. The truffle Sausages has a unique, flavorfully taste while the roast beef sandwich was prepared to taste on a fresh soft baguette with horseradish mayo. The chips were the of the dish. They were extra crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We splurged on multiple specialty Gin Tonics cocktails such as the Pink Cat, Blood Orange , Rhubarb and Ginger, and The Ivy G Cs. All were outstanding."

This place was amazing. The food, the staff and the atmosphere was top notch. Bit on the pricey side but you by far get what you pay for. 110% worth every penny. Definitely recommend.

This was my first time at The Ivy. It was lovely! The service was a tiny bit slow but other than that it was fantastic. The pastries were really nice, the food was really flavoursome and fresh and the interior was super cute. I’d definitely come here again.

Wonderful afternoon at The Ivy, St Albans! Luca the bartender made some truly delicious and amazing cocktails and regaled us with lovely stories of Sardina his home! The Espresso Martini was the best I’ve ever tasted !! Thank you Luca for making our afternoon very special

Lovely evening cocktails and a light nibble with my beautiful sister. We ate at the bar, which was lovely as we were not staying long. Had a couple cocktails, I did need an extra shot of gin but that’s probably my threshold being high! Lovely hosts, Luca and the team very attentive and accommodating.

Visited here for my parents birthday and was really impressed with both the food and service. I had the onion soup for my starter and it really was delicious. At the end of the meal he was given a very nice complimentary pudding with a candel in, which was a lovely gusture. We had a lovely meal and will definitely go back again.

The place is well put together, beautiful well thought out restaurant decor. Staff are attentive and welcoming. I ordered the scallop starters which were nice... the food all came out nicely presented. My black cod wasn't how I know black cod to be (if you go to Roka or Nobu)... it was abit too dry and the side of pickled white veg it came with, tasted like Sambuca which wasn't pleasant. It's a lovely place to try but not sure id go back.

Dined here tonight with my fiance for a pre- valentines dinner, exceptional food , excellent service. Taylor the manager was exceptional from start to finish , nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return at some point in the very near future. Staff are very accommodating to everyone's needs , very attentive indeed. Was even given a free desert on the house for our anniversary, unexpected, but a very lovely gesture

I liked it... the savignon blanc was nice. I enjoyed my starter of pan fried scallops £14. I ordered the aromatic duck curry for my main £19.25 which I will not order again because even though the sauce was lovely the actual duck was dry and rubbery. I then finished off with a sharing plate of profiteroles £30. I then ordered a dark rum coke to finish with and was pleasantly surprised by its strength good portion sizing. So for 3 ppl we ended up with a bill of £240! BTW there's no parking.

We were away for the weekend and came across this beautiful place while looking for lunch. A beautiful restaurant what I would consider to be top of there game. Spending over 13 years studying and working in catering myself I could not fault the service, professional, efficient and extremely well executed. The food was wonderful. So full of flavour and my dessert of Santa's on his way was delectable and amusing at the sametime. We will definitely be back when we are down that area. Would recommend anyone to go try it.

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."
