"My wife and,I were meeting a friend at Victoria Station and then going to Tate Britain I had often walked the Jugged Hare and been impressed by its imposing exterior and that it was a Fullers pub. We decided to try it for lunch....The inside is as good as the inside! A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. First up, the staff were great, really friendly and accommodating. Then there is a choice of hot drinks both the ladies has chocolate a big thumbs up. A Lovely collection of ales I had Fullers Swing Low' . The menu was really interesting, small plates or large and great awareness and information on food allergies. We all enjoyed our lunches (celeriac risotto, soft shell crab burger, a superb scotch egg and cauliflower and Lincolnshire poacher pie. And of course, gorgeous traditional decor. A delightful pub, highly recommended for a visit for drinks, food, atmosphere, decor and service!"

A lovely clean and old fashioned pub, the staff go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and are extremely friendly. Really recommend, we will be back! Very nice little beer garden too!

Visited this pub yesterday for lunch, special mention to the Manager (Im so sorry forgot her name) and Grazina for everything. Food was lovely, service was great from all staff that served us. I only called on the day and had a table in the...restaurant which was really nice. Will definitely return.

Called in about on a Wednesday night for a couple of drinks with colleagues. Lovely interior and bar staff and drinks were nice. The only negative is that around they called last orders and the bouncer kept coming around to tell us drink...up, drink up. Felt very rushed and we were out on the pavement at on the dot.

I do not give easily but this pub just squeaks in. Beautifully kept Fullers beers, excellent no nonsense British food, with all the trimmings, and a traditional wood-panelled bar and dining room, all pleasantly served with a big smile. Nothing too much trouble ..Le beurre, l’argent du beurre et le sourire de la crémière! Can’t fault it a wonderful moment se bonheur minutes walk from Victoria Station.... Visualizza piatti

I’ve visited here a couple of times recently and I’ve been really impressed both times. The pub is comfortable and has a great atmosphere but feels very Covid safe. The drinks are fairly priced and the food is great! But the best thing about this...pub is the staff every single member of staff who I’ve interacted with has been really friendly, kind and efficient. I will definitely be back and would recommend The Jugged Hare to anyone!

worst place to eat. they treat employees like zero. shame. Chef Jarosław has a problem. when he went out for a cigarette, I asked why he insulted the employee. everything was heard in the room, curses and how he called people idiots and morons. after...my question, Jaro started cursing at me and ran to the other side of the street. I am a student of the University of London and I assure you that none of my friends will come to this place.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
