Topnotch cod with non soggy chips, and lots of it. Tartare sauce and lemon come as standard too. Staff are helpful and cheerful, and there's even a view over the harbour from the outside seating area. Seaside chippies seldom come as good as this. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Best Cod and Chips I have had for a long time, possibly ever. My wife and I shared a single portion and it was enough for a light lunch. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Ordered here twice. First order just chips, second fish and chips. Chips were crispy on first order. On second order, they weren't, but fish was crispy. Second order placed end of day near to closing, but would have appreciated if the chips could've been made crispy don't know how it's done, maybe refried? It does make a big difference. Fish was excellent. Had Dover sole in batter. Really hot inside and crispy outside. Could tell it was made fresh.

First of all, they charge 60p for a small tub of chili sauce and 30p for a small tub of mayo. I've never encountered a chip shop that charges more for a different cold dipping sauce; they usually have the same price, which just doesn’t make sense. Another issue is that they don’t have a bin on-site and expect you to take your trash with you to an industrial bin across the road. This is just too much hassle for people with children or those already carrying a lot of items.
