"Went here as its near to my sisters house for lunch. It's only 3 bus stops away but as it was drizzling rain and a strong wind blowing we got the bus. On entry there is a sign stating to wait to be seated, so we did. We were shown to table A10 near the bar and door. I didn't get any of the servers names but they were superbly competent and friendly. We were given quite a comprehensive menu so there was something for everyone. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but soon the tables filled up and there were folk looking for orders to takeaway.. Gina had the little yins bacon and chicken mini baguette and I plumped for the butternut squash and chilli soup and coronation chicken brown bread sandwiches. Only one point about my sisters baguette, I'm sure that it's supposed to be baked in the oven beforehand (it looked white and raw). It came with twice cooked chips and I have to say that the portions (ours and others were more than ample). For drinks I had a soda/blackcurrant and a white coffee for my sister. Later on I had a black tea. Must say that I enjoyed the whole experience and the price (less than £25). Will return again on my next visit."

Standard local pub. Staff was alright, had a pint and a glass of wine for £11.

Had a nice beer and s meal; BBQ chicken with chips and salad. Great beer but the chicken was hard to cut and not so tender. Good service and atmosphere.

Very authentic pub, local folks, good beer and cider and great fish, chips peas. Batter was too greasy, that’s the only thing that could‘ve been improved.

Food was not palatable at all, and the staff were quite rude. They were absolutely not courteous at all and we even felt if they were showing racist attitude, as we noticed the staff being very friendly to their white customers! Won’t be back here

Travelling through the highlands during tourist season, it makes it hard to get an authentic Scottish experience when dining. My wife and I left with smiles on our faces as it was a locals spot. The service was perfect and the food even better. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and I had the fish and chips. I usually get a little upset after fish and chips from the excess oil, but not here. Perfectly battered and fried. I wish I could go back, but the trip must go on!
