"We visited The Marram Grass today for our family Christmas lunch. Our mum is never keen on eating out as she always feels disappointed... but not today. Imaginative, quirky and hospitable are three words I would use to describe. Starter of vegetable soup, with various 'help yourself ' accoutrement such as beetroot popcorn, wild rice and delicious breads was a treat. Main course of all the normal sidings to a roast lunch, and the meats (turkey, beef and partridge) were superb. A delightful little cleanser (Barrie style) followed by a delicious and beautifully presented dessert. We took our own wine happy in the knowledge we would pay corkage, but as it was Christmas, they said they didn 't want to charge! Seriously nice touch. Service was outstanding, nothing was too much. A great place that, if didn 't live 145 miles away, I 'd frequent often. I 'll be back as soon as they 'll have me. Shed eating is here to stay. P.S we left a bottle of wine that we didn 't drink as the staff and owners were all eating later in the day. Much deserved! Thank you for looking after me, my mother and the rest of us so nicely. Wow wow wow. We have just had the most amazing meal at the Marram Grass. Endless courses of sheer deliciousness! The Maitre D' was knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. The mixture of flavours and textures were brilliant. Thank you, we will be back.

We have been coming here for 3 years, today the food was amazing, the Pork Pie made from their own very happy pigs was the best I have ever eaten, my wife and I opted for the plaice, it was huge and unbelievably delicious. They do food so well, off there tomorrow for breakfast Visualizza piatti

we went to this wonderful place last weekend. I am not one for sea food but I devoured the scallops and the mussels. when I can see the produce I 'm eating (the pigs acrossthe road which we had for main) i get excited. the room was perfect and great for our dogs. being a foodie and try all the michelin restaurants i can, this truly is special. p.s. the espresso martini 's are on point. as are the staff. highly recommended.
