"Yes ! lovely evening , great food so much better than going to a rip off bar /pub food variety good , its hot , tasty and reasonably priced …. would love a little bit more pasta on the plate … a smidge more would be perfect … but I would not want quality to slip as I would stop going ! Went for a 2nd visit last Friday lunch time for a pre Christmas lunch with to good friends … wonderful food , great service and a lovely way to while away the afternoon. So happy to spend my money in a place like this as they deserve every penny I paid . Thank you all for a wonderful afternoon ."

"The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food, only receiving it after we asked about it. As we were still enjoying our coffee, we were abruptly told that our table was needed and asked to leave, even though we had only been there for an hour and a half. The slow service was not our fault, yet we felt rushed out. The manager was not sympathetic at all. We will not be returning, as we left feeling unwelcome. The vegetarian options were good, particularly the nut roast."

"Ordered at 430 deliver time 1740 received email new time 1810, at 1815 app said been delivered called no one picking up after loads of calls lady who was very nice couldn’t help me didt know what to say, 1845 called back number of times still no update and couldn’t get hold of driver. Food turn up at 1855 and was cold! Very disappointed And it’s not the first time must I add haven’t used for some time but looks like not much has changed. One good thing is food is very nice if it turns up. Very poor customer service"

"we're here while we were on vacation. I was not quite sure what to expect, but was super impressed by the restaurant. the personal was friendly, the environment really nice and eating was top notch. I had the chicken sherpa, who was absolutely excellent and made her really decent portions sound so that they did not starve. I live over 2 hours away from the kathmandu, but if I were closer, if I am here regularly."

"As locals we used to come for dinner most weeks pre-pandemic, having had years of fantastic meals with equally fantastic service, but some disappointing experiences afterwards stopped us for quite a while. We decided to book an early-ish Saturday dinner at 7pm thinking The Crab must be back to standard. Sadly this wasn’t the case. Despite a half empty restaurant and plenty of waiting staff, it took over 30 minutes before anyone took our drinks order and it continued like that. The nachos starter which used to be fabulous had a weird processed dip instead of real sour cream, and instead of salsa we had sweet chilli dip. Mains were over cooked but the chips with two mains were almost raw. We were asked if we wanted pudding and the waiter said he’d bring the board over; 15 minutes later he’s chatting with the barman and we’d had enough. Sadly for The Crab there’s more local choice now, with well trained staff, so that’s where we’ll be."
