"This pub has a fantastic atmosphere, offering over nine ales on tap as well as four ciders and lagers. It's a delightful spot, complete with a roaring fire and a lively crowd. The beer is also very affordable. We also tried the Sunday roast, which was delicious; the meat was slightly tough, but overall, the meal was great. I would definitely return and highly recommend it! Price per person: £10–20. Food rating: 4 out of 5."

Great old fashioned pub, that seems to have the balance right for good food without encroaching on the pub side of things. Dog friendly a great outdoor area. Visualizza piatti

Absolutely fantastic pub! We were warmly welcomed, all four of us, including Skye, our dog, and our baby daughter, Sienna! The food was to die for, and the service was perfect! We’ll definitely be back again very soon! X

"Started off brilliantly, warm friendly reception and very attentive service. Drinks were prompt and very good and the decor and setting is absolutely lovely. We had the Sunday lunch menu and both had the smoked salmon starter which was beautifully presented and very nice. Then the Sunday roasts arrived and things went south rather quickly. I had the ‘best of both’ with both beef and pork which sadly omitted both apple sauce and stuffing, despite being described as ‘with all the trimmings’. My wife had the roast beef, which bizarrely was served with both apple sauce and the black pudding stuffing from the roast pork option. Clearly whomever was plating up wasn’t very attentive. Whilst the meats and roast potatoes were good, sadly the rest of it was rather tasteless. The vegetables were bland and needed seasoning; both the parsnips and Yorkshire pudding appeared to have been cooked much earlier in the day and then warmed up the Yorkshire pudding in particular was dry and tasteless. Equally, the gravy, whilst plentiful was watery and had no depth of flavour and the cauliflower cheese sauce was not cheesy in the slightest. If I were judging this meal as an average pub roast I’d have given it 3 stars, but bearing in mind both the premium price and the expectation set of ‘Malvern’s finest dining experience’ it certainly wasn’t food wise, so sadly only 2 stars. We can only assume that their Sunday roasts are not reflective of their usual standards and we will return to try a weekday evening meal fingers crossed…"
