The Old Bank - Menu

We had an extremely nice lunch on a crowded bank-holiday weekend. Good service. Excellent freshly made onion rings.

Unreal go to the old bank house and get fish and chips unreal especially when quiet amazing service so yummy yummy yummy

Lovely staff. Knowledgeable and Coeliac Friendly. Felt totally safe to eat there. Good food especially breakfasts which were amazing!

Cakes were outstanding. Not too doughy and not too dry. Mains were delicious; hummus a wee bit heavy on the oil but otherwise very happy. The kids platter went down a treat; wish more restaurants would offer these!

Looking for somewhere to have a bite of lunch and saw the old bank as we were driving through the town, a quick u-turn and was parked up around the corner. Quickly seated and menu provided, we both decided to go for the same lunch Welsh Rarebit, these were huge when they arrived and very tasty. Staff were very pleasant

I visited here with my wife and 8month old baby. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to bring our own high chair, though they did have a selection of their own in the back. The food was lovely and they even entertained our little one a bit whilst she was getting bored. If you are passing through we recommend this place!

Food was lovely . We were staying in an air b&b along the road. We ate at The Crown 2 nights in a row. Loved that they did half portions for £8.00 and the portions were still generous. Had the steak pie , the curry and the haddock and chips. All delicious. Deserts to die for. The highlight was our waitress. Fab service and such a lovely girl. Would def recommend.

Visited this place for coffee and cake, it was a round 5pm and alot if other places were closing. Scruffy looking, dirty stained carpet, on the plus side the toilets and tables were clean. Victoria sponge at £4,20 per slice x 2 looked the part but tasted sugary sweet and synthetic. The cream wasn’t ! Don’t know what it was , tasted like cheap soft icing. At first we thought the slices were very small for the price but considering the taste they were more than enough. Latte x 2 were ok. £14. 20 not well spent . Go elsewhere!

Callander doesn't have many restaurants open in the evening, so we decided to give The Crown a try. The menu is pretty standard, like many tourist towns, with chips being a common side option. However, our meals were well-prepared and delicious. The portion sizes were just right. Hazel provided excellent service, with a warm welcome and making us feel valued. I enjoyed a Scottish beer, Jarl by Fyne Ales, although it was served a bit colder than I would have preferred due to the keg system. The Crown was quite busy, so I would suggest making a reservation. Overall, I recommend giving it a try!
