I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Emily provided excellent service and the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The menu had a good variety of options to choose from. I will definitely be coming back again.

We visited this restaurant on my wife's birthday and had a terrible experience. We did not receive the food we ordered, two of our starters never arrived, and it took nearly an hour to get any food at all. When we asked about the delay, the staff were very rude and unhelpful. The food itself was disappointing, with dry burgers and cold roast dinner. The highlight of the evening was watching a spider eat a wasp in a dirty cobweb on the window behind us. We will not be returning to this restaurant. The price per person is £20-30.

I can't find any fault with this restaurant. The service is always excellent, the food is perfect, and the value is amazing. We had two great meals, a beautifully presented side salad with a delicious house dressing, a pint of beer, and a large glass of white wine, all for under £20 for both of us (not each!). After a recent overpriced meal at a steakhouse, there is no comparison - The Old Rectory wins hands down. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be making this our regular meeting spot and recommending it to all our friends. Well done, The Old Rectory!

Well popped in for a meal around 2pm on a Monday afternoon so not a busy time maybe 10 other people in the place. Food took an age to arrive the food was nice but the portion size had shrunk again, we noticed the last 2 visits this was happening. We ate our meal in darkness as the lights in the area we were sitting had tripped out for around 20 minutes. We all know if a light trips you check the fuse box surely? But my biggest moan is there was no heating on and the place was freezing it was actually warmer outside than inside the pub. So if your looking for a cozy pub to eat this is not the place to go.
