"Stopped into The Six Bells today whilst meeting friends at the pub next door. Several of us decided to have roast dinners, which were very well put together. I liked that there was extra gravy in a nice big gravy boat. Decent roast spuds, Good variety of traditional vegetables, I just wish I had known about the cauliflower cheese, other of my friends who had arrived later than us ordered it and it looked AMAZING but by then I was stuffed, as my roast pork had been a generously portioned plateful. And the post dinner coffee was very good too. Friendly efficient staff. Clean and well decorated. A perfect civilised Sunday lunch."

"I went there with my parents and my oldest son, and we had a wonderful lunch. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food justifies the cost. My son and I shared the charcuterie board, while my parents enjoyed open-faced sandwiches, which looked fantastic. The bar staff were extremely friendly and entertaining, especially a young lady who really stood out. The restaurant was clean, and the restrooms were spotless. Attention to detail, particularly in cleanliness and customer service, is especially important to us, and this place did not disappoint."

"Good atmosphere for the football and decent selection of beers. However I wouldn’t recommend eating here. It took a long for our food to arrive, and when it didn’t it wasn’t what we expected. Was told the chicken burger was not fried and just a grilled breast, but it was in fact fried. I also asked for thick chips instead of fries, and they brought it out with fries. Not worth complaining about on a busy Sunday afternoon after having waited for so long. The burger was generally poor quality as well, like from a burger van."

"fantastic pub! even better now, as the new people are responsible for it, is what we have just called out now, the other pubs are so disturbed. if they weren't late, they have to try! big beer and a warm welcome. the new menu also looks cracking, I will be for a pizza asap!"

"wow. my friend and I were staying on a local camping site and decided to get a take, we read reviews of the local takeaways and this had the best so we went here, cautious, since no chinese is ever as good as the ones they have to house! for us it was the opposite. we had padthai, chicken bread, 1/2 duck and chicken balls. I would first like to say that all the parts were in the large foil containers that were brilliant for the price! the padthai was absolutely to die as the duck. also the chicken balls and rice tasted delicious! much better than ever. After we had abandoned our order, we got a call from the dame back, worried that pad thai nuts and they only double checked that we had no nuts allergies I thought was very good about them. as always, definitely recommend when they are close!"
